Queen Elizabeth is mourning the death of her dog Holly, who recently passed away at the age of 13.
Holly was one of the Queen’s two beloved Corgi dogs and she was put down last week after suffering an illness. She was buried at the Scottish retreat Balmoral, according to People.
The Queen reportedly decided she does not want to replace her dogs anymore.
“She didn’t want to have any more young dogs,” her dog trainer told Vanity Fair last year. “She didn’t want to leave any young dog behind. She wanted to put an end to it.”
