Stephen Sondheim's Final Musical 'Here We Are' Draws Star-Studded Crowd for Opening Night Celebration

The new musical Here We Are, which is the final show from legendary composer Stephen Sondheim, has officially debuted off-Broadway.

A star-studded crowd stepped out to attend the performance on Sunday night (October 22) at The Shed’s Griffin Theatre in New York City.

Among the stars pictured in the gallery are Lee Pace, John Benjamin Hickey, Katie Holmes, Jim Parsons, Sara Bareilles, Phillipa Soo, Sarah Paulson, Nathan Lane, Lin-Manuel Miranda, Paul Rudd, Andy Cohen, Chris Rock, Jane Krakowski, Annaleigh Ashford, Josh Groban, Zachary Quinto, and Josh Gad.

Josh and Annaleigh are currently starring in the revival of Sondheim‘s Sweeney Todd while Sara and Phillipa recently led the revival of Sondheim‘s Into the Woods.

Cast members photographed at the opening night party included David Hyde Pierce, Steven Pasquale, Rachel Bay Jones, Bobby Cannavale, and Micaela Diamond.

The New York Times says that the show “is a worthy and loving farewell to the great musical dramatist.”

Here We Are is running at The Shed through January 21.

Amazon Cancels 'Panic' Series After Just One Season

The Amazon young adult drama series Panic has been canceled after just one season on the streaming service.

The series was written and created by Lauren Oliver, who also wrote the best-selling novel that served as the source material.

Panic focused “on a small town in America where every year the graduating seniors engage in a competition they believe is their one chance to escape. But this year, the rules have changed — and they must decide how much they are willing to risk in order to get out.”

'Panic' Series Creator Talks Season 2 Possibilities, Plus Learn About the Spin-Offs!

The new series Panic on Amazon Prime Video is quickly garnering a fan base after being released this weekend!

The 10-episode first season is based on the novel by Lauren Oliver, who also wrote and created the series.

Panic takes place in a small Texas town, where every summer the graduating seniors compete in a series of challenges, winner takes all, which they believe is their one and only chance to escape their circumstances and make their lives better. But this year, the rules have changed – the pot of money is larger than ever and the game has become even more dangerous. The players will come face to face with their deepest, darkest fears and be forced to decide how much they are willing to risk in order to win.

The cast features many new faces who are bound to become big stars, including Olivia Welch, Mike Faist, Jessica Sula, Camron Jones, and Ray Nicholson (the son of Jack Nicholson!).

In a new interview, Lauren is opening up about the possibility of making a second season.

Jonathan Bennett flashes a big smile alongside his pal Garrett Clayton while attending the Los Angeles premiere of the musical Hello Dolly held at the Pantages Theatre on Wednesday evening (January 30) in Hollywood.

The 37-year-old Celebrity Big Brother star and Garrett, 27, were joined at the event by Lea Thompson, Keala Settle, Lisa Loeb and her hubby Roey Hershkovitz, Thomas Lennon, Courtney Reed, Rachel Bay Jones, Naomi Grossman, Aubrey Anderson-Emmons and Kitana Turnbull.

Julia Roberts & Lucas Hedges Premiere 'Ben Is Back' in New York City!

Julia Roberts and Lucas Hedges are sharing their new film Ben Is Back!

The co-stars stepped out at the premiere of the film on Monday night (December 3) at AMC Loews Lincoln Square in New York City.

They were joined at the event by their cast mates Courtney B. Vance, Jakari Fraser, Mia Fowler, Alexandra Park, Rachel Bay Jones and David Zaldivar.

The movie follows 19 year-old Ben Burns who unexpectedly returns home to his family’s suburban home on Christmas Eve morning. Ben’s mother, Holly, is relieved and welcoming but wary of her son staying clean. Over a turbulent 24 hours, new truths are revealed, and a mother’s undying love for her son is tested as she does everything in her power to keep him safe.

Lucas & Peter Hedges Get Support from Family at 'Ben Is Back' New York Screening!

Lucas Hedges is all smiles as he poses with his family while attending the Roadside Attractions and The Cinema Society special screening of his film Ben Is Back held at The Whitby Hotel on Monday evening (November 26) in New York City.

The 21-year-old actor and and his family – mother Susan, father Peter and brother Simon – were joined at the event by their co-star Rachel Bay Jones.

Also in attendance to show their support was Mary-Louise Parker and her son Will, Carol Kane, Ben Platt, two-time Tony winner Joe Mantello, Dylan Baker and his wife Becky Ann Baker, Ari’el Stachel, Willa Fitzgerald and Charlie Carver.

Ben Platt Visits 'Dear Evan Hansen' to Watch Friend Taylor Trensch in the Role!

Ben Platt has returned to Broadway’s Dear Evan Hansen… as an audience member!

The 24-year-old Tony-winning actor sat in the audience and watched his friend Taylor Trensch perform the role, which he originated.

“I saw a musical. These people were in it. They were good. The boy on the left made me cry,” Ben captioned a photo on Instagram with Taylor and his leading lady Laura Dreyfuss.

Tony winner Rachel Bay Jones, who plays Evan’s mom in the musical, also posted a photo with the two Evans.

Taylor will be starring in the show through the end of the year. Go see it!!!
