Benedict Cumberbatch stepped out to support Creative Time!

The 43-year-old actor attended the 2019 Creative Time Gala on Thursday night (October 24) at Skylight on Vesey in New York City.

Benedict was joined at the fundraising event by other celebs including Rachel Weisz, Nicholas Braun, Sofia Coppola, Nev Schulman and his wife Laura Perlongo.

The annual fundraiser supports the public arts non-profit in its mission to amplify artists’ voices, ignite conversations on current issues, and engage audiences in dynamic public art.

The 49-year-old Oscar winning actress looked chic in a shimmering black dress as she attended the event alongside fellow guests Justin Theroux and Jennifer Connelly.

Other stars at the event included Lee Pace, Antoni Porowski, Louis Vuitton designer Nicolas Ghesquiere, and designer Jason Wu.

On starring in Black Widow, which is being directed by a woman: “There is something that happens in a scene when a woman is across from another woman. It sounds really pompous, but you are free from the history of ownership — I really mean that. It’s liberating.”

On not seeing herself as brave: “I’m shy in real life. But if I have a role in the script and a story to tell, I’m not going to shy away.”

On being surprised by passion of Marvel producers: “It doesn’t feel Hollywood to me, big budget — it feels like the people there are the stewards and guardians of this storytelling they care about.”

Rachel Weisz is giving an update on her husband Daniel Craig after he was injured while performing a stunt on the set of the upcoming James Bond movie, currently titled Bond 25.

Extra asked Rachel how he’s doing after hurting his ankle during a stunt, and she responded, “He’s very well, thank you. Really well…He’s doing well.”

Daniel underwent surgery after the stunt gone wrong and was seen in a walking boot and using crutches afterwards.

Bond 25 has had some setbacks in the past few weeks, including Daniel Craig‘s injury. There was also an explosion on the set in the UK.

Scarlett Johansson is all smiles while announcing her Black Widow movie during Marvel’s panel at 2019 Comic-Con on Saturday (July 20) in San Diego, Calif.

The 34-year-old actress introduced the world to her co-stars – David Harbour as Alexei aka The Red Guardian, Florence Pugh as Yelena, O-T Fagbenle as Mason, and Rachel Weisz as Melina.

The film’s director Cate Shortland was also on hand!

Jude Law, Rachel Weisz, and Felicity Jones stop by Annabel’s club!

The 46-year-old Captain Marvel actor, the 49-year-old The Favourite actress, and the 35-year-old On the Basis of Sex star hung out at the elegant venue on Monday (July 8) in London, England.

Felicity was joined by her husband Charles Guard, who got the door for her as they got back in their ride.

Other stars spotted at the club that day were Rebel Wilson and Josh Gad.

Felicity and Rebel both checked out the Polo Ralph Lauren Suite at Wimbledon that same day as well.

ICYMI, Jude and wife Phillipa Coan recently returned from their honeymoon in Italy, where Jude showed off his hot body while shirtless!

Rachel Weisz is up for a role in the Black Widow film, and while a deal is not reportedly done just yet, it is headed in the right direction and there is “strong interest from both sides of negotiations,” Variety reports!

The role is currently unknown, but it is said to be an important character in Scarlett Johansson‘s Marvel film. Just earlier today, it was also revealed that Stranger Things‘ David Harbour had landed a role in the movie.

Rachel, who won an Oscar back in 2006 for her work in The Constant Gardener, was lauded during this past awards season for her work in The Favourite.
