Rebecca Gayheart and Eric Dane are the proud parents of a newborn baby girl!
Mama Rebecca gave birth on Wednesday (March 3) in Los Angeles. The name has yet to be announced.
“Mother, father and daughter are doing great,” a rep for the couple told the Associated Press.
“It just makes sense that I’m having a girl…I don’t know what it is, but I am excited it’s a girl,” Eric told People last month.
This is the first child for both parents.

Eric Dane and Rebecca Gayheart take care of some post-holiday clean up outside of their Hollywood home on Saturday (December 26).
On Monday, Rebecca showed off her baby bump as she grabbed some lunch with a friend in West Hollywood.
It was recently revealed to E!’s Marc Malkin that Eric, 37, and Rebecca, 38, will be expecting a girl!
Rebecca is reportedly due in March with the couple’s first child.

Actress Rebecca Gayheart, who’s been sporting a bump for a bit and recently confirmed her pregnancy, tells In Touch that she and husband Eric Dane are excited for the new addition to the family and that she’s staying super healthy to benefit the baby.
“I’m doing yoga, and I’m walking on the beach every day with my dogs for about an hour,” Rebecca, 38, shared at the IWC Schaffhausen Michael Muller event in Hollywood.
“I drink lots of water and eat a lot of vegetables and protein.”
Rebecca also shared that her McSteamy husband will be a great role model: “I think Eric is going to be a wonderful dad, and hopefully I’ll be a good mom,” she said. “We’re absolutely looking forward to it!”
Katherine Heigl returns to her home after hosting Grey’s Anatomy costar Ellen Pompeo‘s baby shower in Hollywood on Saturday (August 29).
Many of the gifts – which included a Sleep Sheep toy mobile, Sleepy Safari stacking toys, organic hooded towels and a Kiddopotamus organic swaddle wrap – came from the Juvenile Shop in Sherman Oaks, where Ellen is registered. (Ellen and pal Nicole Richie shopped there together last month.)

Grey’s Anatomy stars Ellen Pompeo and Eric Dane go on a double date together on Saturday (March 7) in Malibu, Calif.
Each of them brought along their spouses. Ellen brought husband Chris Ivery while Eric kept close to actress wife Rebecca Gayheart.

Dane, who stars as Dr. Mark “McSteamy” Sloane on Grey’s Anatomy, has recently addressed his marriage to Gayheart: “It is great. I don’t know how I got so lucky.” And apparently, the two of them are “working on” kids. Lots of… Private Practice.
Eric, 35, and Rebecca, 36, were recently among the 68 friends and family at Charlie Sheen‘s wedding last month. The couple first introduced Charlie to his real estate investor wife Brooke Mueller in 2006.
