Check out the trailer for Tyler Perry’s Good Deeds, which he stars in and also wrote, produced, and directed.
Here’s the synopsis: A successful, wealthy businessman, Wesley Deeds (Perry) has always done what’s expected of him, whether it’s assuming the helm of his father’s company, tolerating his brother’s misbehavior at the office or planning to marry his beautiful but restless fiancee, Natalie (Gabrielle Union). But Wesley is jolted out of his predictable routine when he meets Lindsey (Thandie Newton), a down-on-her-luck single mother who works on the cleaning crew in his office building.
When he offers to help her get back on her feet, the chance encounter with someone so far outside his usual circle ignites something in Wesley. This one good deed may finally spark his courage to exchange the life that’s expected of him for the life he’s always really wanted.

Here’s what the 38-year-old Good Deeds actress had to share with the mag:
On finding love in Sin City: “My favorite Vegas story is the one where I met [my husband] Jerry [O'Connell]. We were at the pool at the Hard Rock Hotel. I was at my cabana and he was at a nearby cabana. He did a very good job of coming over and talking to me.”
On her twins and being a mom: “The crazy thing about the terrible twos is they trick you, because when the girls are being adorable, they lure you right in and they get you … Working all day on a TV set is so much more relaxing than being home and being Mommy. I started getting jealous of Jerry going off and doing The Defenders every day.”
On keeping her 5’11” frame in shape: “I had to change my exercise routine because what worked for me before I was pregnant didn’t work for me afterwards. I started doing Bikram yoga, and I highly recommend it to any mother who wants to shock her
body back into shape.”
FYI: Rebecca is wearing a Tom Ford grapefruit tulle & georgette dress with Vhernier’s Abraccio ring.
