Reese Witherspoon and her husband Jim Toth make their way through LAX Airport with their seven-month-old baby boy Tennessee in his stroller on Saturday afternoon (May 4) in Los Angeles.

The 37-year-old actress and her family are back home on the west coast after she worked on new scenes for her film The Good Lie and they settled their case for their arrests late last month.

Reese was spotted wearing a “City of Atlanta Police” hat at the airport. Looks like she made good with the department!

Some good news for Reese – in its second week of release, her new film Mud moved up to number eight on the box office chart on Friday (May 3) after expanding into some more theaters!

Reese Witherspoon is in talks to star in the upcoming sci-fi romantic drama called Passengers opposite Keanu Reeves, THR reports.

The 37-year-old actress, who has been in the media lately for her recent arrest for disorderly conduct, is just in the early stages of the deal, so nothing may come of it.

Here’s a synopsis: A starship transporting human cargo to a colony malfunctions, causing one passenger (Reeves) to prematurely thaw from a cryogenic slumber almost a century before anyone else. Not wanting to be alone, he decides to wake up another passenger, a female.

Reese Witherspoon has given her first public interview since being arrested for disorderly conduct while her husband Jim Toth was arrested for DUI on Thursday (May 2) on Good Morning America in New York City.

“I saw [the cop] arresting my husband and I literally panicked,” the 37-year-old Mud star explained. “I told him I was pregnant. I’m not pregnant. I said all kinds of crazy things.”

“We went out to dinner in Atlanta and we had one too many glasses of wine. We thought we were fine to drive and we absolutely were not…We know better and we shouldn’t have done that.”

“I was so disrespectful to him,” Reese admitted about her arresting officer. “I have police officers in my family. I work with police officers every day. I know better. It’s just unacceptable.”

Reese also explained what it was like telling her children, Ava, 13, and Deacon, 8, about the incident. “We have to say when you make a mistake you take responsibility and we are taking responsibility and doing everything in our power to make it right.”

Reese Witherspoon gets to work on the set off her upcoming film The Good Lie on Wednesday afternoon (May 1) at a Waffle House near Atlanta, Ga.

The 37-year-old actress has reportedly landed her first project since news of her arrest for disorderly conduct broke last week.

Reese is set to produce the film Get Her Off The Pitch and the flick is being shaped for her to star in it as well, according to Deadline.

The film is an Americanized adaptation of a memoir by Times of London critic Lynne Truss, a “self-described proud sports atheist” who was sent to cover the World Cup and eventually covered majoring sporting events for the next four years and slowly became a sports fan.

On life after having baby Tennessee: “Ever since I had the baby, I can’t remember anything. Seriously this child stole my brain. I’m sure I’m losing friendships over forgetting to get back to people. But you can’t keep up with everything. I’ve got a 13-year-old, a nine-year-old and a baby. It’s like CNN ticker tape running through my mind at all times.”

On her obsession with Pinterest: “My husband [Jim Toth] says, ‘Are you buying those things?’ and I’m like, “No, I’m just putting pictures of them on my electronic pinboard.’ Then I get to organize them: So this is my dream kitchen, these are my favorite hand bags, these are hotels I want to visit, jewelry I really need to buy… I have a whole board of monogrammed accessories, I like to my name on everything.”

On needing her girlfriends in her life: “Oh my gosh, I don’t know what I would have done so many times in my life if I hadn’t had my girlfriends. They have literally gotten me up out of bed, taken my clothes off, put me in the shower, dressed me, and said, ‘Hey, you can do this,’ put my high heels on and pushed me out the door! But you do have to work at friendships as much as you would any relationship. So, even when I’m really busy, we always manage to find each other on Saturday nights for a drink.”
