Rhett Akins is a new dad!
The 50-year-old country singer and his wife, Sonya, welcomed a baby boy to their family earlier this month.
“Friday the 13th is a pretty magical day,” Sonya shared on her Instagram recently, along with a new photo of the newborn.
She added, “He is perfect in every way!!!! Welcome Brody James Akins. 💙💙🙏🏼😍❤️”
Sonya added in another Instagram that her “heart is about to explode!! I’m so in love with our sweet baby boy!! Thank you lord for this precious gift that you have given our family!! 💙💙💙.”
Brody is Sonya and Rhett‘s first child together. He’s also a dad to Thomas Rhett Akins, 29, and Kasey Lee Akins, 27.
