Ricky Jay has sadly passed away, according to his attorney.
The 72-year-old master magician died of natural causes on Saturday (November 24) in Los Angeles.
“I am sorry to share that my remarkable friend, teacher, collaborator and co-conspirator is gone,” his Deceptive Practices partner Michael Weber said in a statement.
His manager Winston Simone added, “He was one of a kind. We will never see the likes of him again.”
In addition to his skills as a magician, Ricky also acted in films and TV shows such as Boogie Nights, House of Games and Deadwood.
