Barbara Bush Dead - Former First Lady Dies at 92

Barbara Bush has died at the age of 92.

The Former First Lady and wife of Former President George H.W. Bush died at her home in Houston, Texas on Tuesday (April 17).

“A former First Lady of the United States of America and relentless proponent of family literacy, Barbara Pierce Bush passed away Tuesday, April 17, 2018 at the age of 92. She is survived by her husband of 73 years, President George H.W. Bush; five children and their spouses; 17 grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; and her brother, Scott Pierce. She was preceded in death by her second child, Pauline Robinson ‘Robin’ Bush, and her siblings Martha Rafferty and James R. Pierce,” a statement from the Bush family read.

“The official funeral schedule will be announced as soon as is practical,” the statement concluded.

It was revealed over the weekend that Barbara was in failing health and that she had discontinued medical treatment with a focus on comfort care.

Harry Anderson Dead - 'Night Court' Actor Dies at 65

Harry Anderson has sadly passed away.

The Emmy-nominated Night Court actor died on Monday (April 16) at a home in Asheville, NC.

No cause of death has been reported but local police reported that they do not expect foul play.

Harry starred as Judge Harry T. Stone on the NBC comedy Night Court in the mid-80s.

He also was the star of Dave’s World, the 1990 It miniseries and made several appearance on Cheers. Harry most recently co-starred in A Matter of Faith in 2014.

Chuck McCann Dead - TV Personality & Comedian Dies at 83

Chuck McCann has sadly died at the age of 83.

The TV personality and comedian died on Sunday (April 8) of congestive heart failure at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles, his publicist confirmed to The Hollywood Reporter.

Chuck worked as a kids show host, puppeteer, actor and comedian in his long and varied career, including roles in The Heart Is A Lonely Hunter and The Projectionist.

He was known for everything from voicing Sonny the Cuckoo Bird for Cocoa Puffs TV spots to funny Right Guard antiperspirant commercials to his imitation of Oliver Hardy, one-half of Laurel & Hardy.

Isao Takahata Dead - Studio Ghibli Co-Founder & Director Dies at 82

Isao Takahata has sadly died at the age of 82, according to Yahoo! Japan.

The director co-founded Studio Ghibli alongside Hayao Miyazaki back in 1985.

He directed several notable films, including The Tale of the Princess Kaguya, My Neighbors the Yamadas, Pom Poko, Only Yesterday and Grave Of The Fireflies. He also did music direction for Kiki’s Delivery Service.

The Tale of the Princess Kaguya was also nominated for Best Animated Feature Film at the 2015 Oscars.

He worked in both TV and film since the 1960s in Japan.

MTV's 'Road Rules' Contestant Brian Lancaster Dead at 43

Former MTV Road Rules reality star Brian Lancaster has passed away at the young age of 43.

He was found deceased at his home in Pennsylvania one week ago, TMZ reports. The family has come forward to say the death was not related to drugs or alcohol. Brian had a history of arrhythmia and the family believes he possibly died of heart failure.

Brian appeared on season 7 of the show, back in 1999.

This is the second tragedy to hit the Road Rules family as contestant Danny Dias passed away last year at the age of 34.
