Jennifer Aniston's Mother Nancy Dow Dies at Age 79

Jennifer Aniston‘s mother Nancy Dow has sadly passed away.

The 47-year-old actress released a statement to People.

“It is with great sadness that my brother John and I announce the passing of our Mother Nancy Dow,” Jennifer told the mag. “She was 79 years old and passed peacefully surrounded by family and friends after enduring a long illness. We ask that our family’s privacy be respected as we grieve our loss.”

Nancy was married to Jen‘s dad John Aniston from 1965-1980. She appeared in the 1960s television series The Beverly Hillbillies and The Wild Wild West.

Johnny Depp's Mother Betty Sue Palmer Dies Days Before Amber Heard Files for Divorce

Johnny Depp‘s mother has sadly passed away.

The 52-year-old Alice Through the Looking Glass star’s mom Betty Sue Palmer died on Friday (May 20) in Los Angeles, according to ET. She was 81 years old.

Betty was reportedly suffering from a long illness.

Back in 2004, Johnny brought her as his date to the Oscars where he was nominated for the first time for his role in Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl.

Meanwhile, it was just revealed that Johnny‘s wife of one year, Amber Heard, filed for divorce earlier this week.

Alan Young Dead - 'Mr. Ed' Star Dies at 96

Alan Young, the star of classic sitcom Mr. Ed, has died at the age of 96, according to Variety.

The actor passed away on Thursday (May 20) at the Motion Picture and Television Home in Woodland Hills, Calif.

Alan starred on the famed 1960′s sitcom Mr. Ed for five years, where he played an architect who owned a talking horse that would only speak to him.

He also voiced Scrooge McDuck and numerous other animated characters and guest starred on dozens of TV shows including Sabrina The Teenage Witch and ER.

John Berry Dead - Original Beastie Boys Member Dies at 52

John Berry, one of the original members of the hip-hop group Beastie Boys, has died at age 52.

The former musician passed away after a battle with frontal lobe dementia on Thursday morning (May 19) at 7:30am at a hospice in Danvars, Massachusetts. John‘s death was confirmed to Rolling Stone by his father.

John went to high school with fellow group member Mike Diamond and he is credited with coming up with the name Beastie Boys. They formed the group with Adam Yauch and Kate Schellenbach back in July 1981.

Morley Safer Dead - Famed '60 Minutes' Journalist Passes Away at 84

Morley Safer, famed 60 Minutes journalist, has passed away at the age of 84, CBS News reports.

The journalist was a mainstay on 60 Minutes for 46 years, and just last week announced his retirement.

He is a 12-time winner of News and Documentary Emmys, won three Peabody Awards, and was a respected member of the journalism community.

Morley is survived by his wife, Jane Fearer, and their daughter. A cause of death has not yet been revealed.

Guy Clark Dead - Grammy Winning Singer Dies at 74

Guy Clark, a popular folk singer who was a Nashville Songwriters Hall of Famer, passed away at the age of 74 on Tuesday (May 17) in Nashville, Tenn.

The Tennessean reports that Guy had a long illness for years, and battled cancer.

“Due to ongoing health problems, Guy stopped touring and recording shortly thereafter. He is survived by his son Travis and daughter-in-law Krista McMurtry Clark; grandchildren Dylan and Ellie Clark; sisters Caroline Clark Dugan and Jan Clark; manager and friend Keith Case; caretaker and sweetheart Joy Brogdon; nieces, nephews and many, many dear friends, colleagues and fans,” his Facebook page obituary read.

He won the 2014 Grammy Award for Best Folk Album titled My Favorite Picture Of You.

Lena Dunham Mourns 'Girls' Co-Star Nick Lashaway

Lena Dunham chats on the phone while heading to the set of Girls on Tuesday (May 10) in the Lower East Side in New York City.

The 29-year-old actress took to Instagram that day to mourn co-star, Nick Lashaway, who died in a car accident earlier in the week.

“Just heard the incredibly sad news that Nick Lashaway was killed in a car accident on May 8th,” Lena wrote. “Nick was such a talented, funny and kind person and we were so lucky to have him as a part of the Girls family when he played Frank in episode 207. We will always remember the week we shared with him, his playful smile, his easy instincts and how much he made us laugh even when we had to stay up all night in the woods. We are sending love to his family and friends and feeling such gratitude for his gifts. RIP sweet Nick.”
