'Dick Van Dyke Show' Star Morgan Guilbert Dies at 87

So sad – actress Morgan Guilbert has passed away at the age of 87, according to AP.

Best known for her role as Millie in The Dick Van Dyke Show, Morgan reportedly died after a long battle with cancer.

You may also remember her for her recurring role as Grandma Yetta in The Nanny and more recently in the CBS comedy Life in Pieces.

“Our show & our days were immeasurably better for having been shared with Anne Guilbert. She was extraordinary. #RIP,” her LIP co-star Thomas Sadoski tweeted.

She was also well known for her theater credits, including A Naked Girl on the Appian Way, Waiting for Godot, and To Kill a Mockingbird.

'Big Gay Musical' Creator Fred Caruso Dead at 41 from Suicide

Fred Caruso, the co-writer and director of the 2009 movie Big Gay Musical, passed away on Monday (June 13) after an apparent suicide.

The 41-year-old creator, who was producing the Off-Broadway production Newsical, broke the news in a scheduled note posted to Big Gay Musical’s Facebook page later that day.

“For most of my life I have been absolutely miserable — except for when I was creating. I have nothing left in me to create,” Fred wrote. “I don’t think I have any idea what love or happiness is. I have been incredibly lonely and at the same time — I hate being around people.”

Fred asked mourners to remember him by donating to the Trevor Project, which helps prevent suicide in LGBTQ+ youth.

Mark Grimmie Opens Up About Loss of Sister Christina Grimmie

Mark Grimmie has broken his silence about tragically losing his sister, Christina after the deadly shooting in Orlando.

He took to his personal Facebook, sharing his feelings after everything that happened and remembered Christina fondly.

Christina was more than my sister,” he wrote (via People). “She was a partner in life. A superstar. A goofball. Introverted. And a friend to everyone. Genuinely.”

Mark added, “But above all…she was my baby sister. She loved the Lord and her family and was always there for me and I honestly don’t know what ill do without her.”

Christina was shot by a gunman outside of the concert venue while trying to greet her fans. Her brother tackled the shooter, but the man shot himself to death on the scene.

Gordie Howe Dead - Canadian Hockey Legend Dies At 88

Canadian hockey legend Gordie Howe has passed away at the age of 88 on Friday morning (June 9) at his home in Ohio.

Gordie‘s son Marty Howe confirmed the news to CNN Sports, but no other details surrounding his death have been released.

Gordie was inducted into the NHL Hall of Fame in 1972. Over 26 seasons in the NHL and six more in the WHA he won the Stanley Cup with the Detroit Red Wings four times, won six Hart Trophies as the league’s most valuable player and six Art Ross Trophies as the leading scorer, according to ET Canada.

In 2014, Gordie suffered a significant stroke while visiting his daughter in Lubbock, Texas.

Kimbo Slice Dead - MMA Fighter Dies at 42

Famed MMA fighter Kimbo Slice has passed away at the age of 42 on Monday (June 6) in Coral Springs, Fla.

Kimbo was hospitalized early Monday and unfortunately passed on a short while later according to TMZ, but no details surrounding his death have been released.

“We are all shocked and saddened by the devastating untimely loss of Kimbo Slice, a beloved member of the Bellator family. One of the most popular MMA fighters ever, Kimbo was a charismatic, larger-than-life personality that transcended the sport. Outside of the cage he was a friendly, gentle giant and a devoted family man. His loss leaves us all with extremely heavy hearts, and our thoughts and prayers are with the entire Ferguson family and all of Kimbo‘s friends, fans and teammates,” the CEO of Bellator MMA said in a statment.

Kimbo last fought at Bellator 149 in February and won but his victory was overturned when he tested positive for a banned steroid.
