Legendary Crooner Andy Williams Dead at 84

Singer Andy Williams has passed away at the age of 84 on Tuesday (September 24) at his home in Branson, Mo.

The “Moon River” crooner died after battling bladder cancer this past year, according to People.

Andy is survived by his wife Debbie and his three children, Robert, Noelle and Christian.

Along with releasing numerous hit songs throughout his lengthy career, Andy was also popular for his variety show, The Andy Williams Show, which aired from 1962-1971.

Celebrities Remember Michael Clarke Duncan on Twitter

Celebrities are taking to Twitter to remember their friend, colleague, and fellow actor Michael Clarke Duncan, who passed away this morning (September 3) at the age of 54.

The Green Mile actor recently suffered cardiac arrest but was saved by the quick action of his fiancee Omarosa Manigault-Stallworth. His rep says that he “never fully recovered”.

Michael Clarke Duncan Dead at 54

Michael Clarke Duncan has passed away at the age of 54.

The Green Mile actor’s fiancee Omarosa Manigault-Stallworth has confirmed that he died, the Associated Press reports.

“[Omarosa] is grateful for all of your prayers and asks for privacy at this time. Celebrations of his life, both private and public, will be announced at a later date,” his rep told TMZ.

Michael was hospitalized in July after going into cardiac arrest. He was saved by Omarosa, a former Apprentice contestant, who performed CPR after discovering him in the their home. Michael was reported to be in stable condition after the incident.

Michael, who was nominated for an Academy Award for his work in The Green Mile, most recently appeared on the television series The Finder.

Neil Armstrong: First Man On The Moon Dead

Neil Armstrong, the first man on the Moon has died.

The U.S. astronaut and commander of the Apollo 11 spacecraft was 82-years-old.

Earlier this month he had surgery to relieve blocked coronary arteries.

Neil set foot on the Moon on 20 July, 1969, and famously described the event as “one small step for man, one giant leap for mankind.” Along with fellow astronaut Edwin “Buzz” Aldrin, the duo spent over two hours walking on the moon together.

Last November, Neil and three other astronauts received the Congressional Gold Medal, the highest U.S. civilian award.

Legendary Comedian Phyllis Diller Dead at 95

Phyllis Diller, the legendary comedian who paved the way for many female comics who followed her, has passed away at the age of 95.

The comedian died in her Los Angeles home surrounded by loved ones. She had recently hurt her hip in a fall and her health had been on the decline ever since, according to TMZ.

Phyllis‘ career began back in the 1950s. She starred in many specials alongside Bob Hope and also had her own series, The Phyllis Diller Show.
