Jack Bruce Dead - Cream Singer Dies at 71

Jack Bruce, the singer and bassist for Rock and Roll Hall of Fame band Cream, has passed away at the age of 71.

“It is with great sadness that we, Jack’s family, announce the passing of our beloved Jack: husband, father, granddad, and all round legend. The world of music will be a poorer place without him, but he lives on in his music and forever in our hearts,” the musician’s family wrote on Facebook.

Jack‘s publicist added, “He died today at his home in Suffolk surrounded by his family.”

Kamara James Dead - Olympic Fencer Dies at 29

Kamara James, a 2004 Olympic fencer, was found dead at the age of 29 on September 20, People reports.

“She had a spirit about her, an energy about her,” her longtime friend, Jean Goto said. “She was really driven, really motivated, really focused.”

Kamara battled schizophrenia, but was able to overcome many obstacles and finish college, despite a three-month hospital stay.

While a cause of death has not been found, suicide and foul play have been ruled out as options.

Oscar de la Renta, famed famous designer, has passed away at the age of 82, Variety reports.

While there is no other information currently available about his death, including cause of death or date of death, he was reportedly battling cancer since 2006.

Recently, Oscar de la Renta designed Amal Clooney‘s wedding gown, and was even present at her final fitting over the summer. Oscar has famously dressed many many celebrities over the years for red carpets, award shows, and more.

Joanne Borgella Dead - 'American Idol' Contestant Dies at 32

American Idol contestant Joanne Borgella has died at the age of 32.

The season 7 contestant lost her battle to cancer on Saturday (October 18).

“Since her diagnosis over a year ago, Joanne made a choice to also be a fighter and share her journey with the world. Her faith, courage and strength were unshaken throughout every obstacle she encountered,” her family wrote on Facebook. “Although our family is suffering with this great loss, we find comfort in the closeness Joanne shared with the Lord. We know her spirit still shines and will continue to live on in heaven.”

Misty Upham Dead - 'August: Osage County' Actress Dies at 32

August: Osage County actress Misty Upham has reportedly been found dead at the age of 32.

According to TMZ, her uncle confirmed the body police found in a wooded area near a cliff at White River in Auburn, Washington is indeed hers.

Misty was last seen leaving her sister’s apartment in Muckleshoot, Washington on October 5, and her family filed a missing person’s report the following day.

She played the role Johnna Monevata, the caregiver to Meryl Streep‘s character, in the movie August: Osage County, and received a SAG Award nomination alongside the cast for her work in the film.

Elizabeth Pena Dead - 'Modern Family' Guest Star Dies at 55

Elizabeth Pena has sadly passed away at the age of 55.

The actress is well known for her guest star role on Modern Family as the mother of Sofia Vergara‘s character Gloria and most recently wrapped up work on the El Rey Network series Matador.

Elizabeth died on Tuesday (October 14) at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles, though no cause of death has been revealed yet, according to Latino Review.

Some of Elizabeth‘s memorable film roles include the 1990 horror film Jacob’s Ladder and the 1996 film Lone Star.

'Saturday Night Live' Alum Jan Hooks Dead at 57

Emmy-nominated actress Jan Hooks sadly died on Thursday (October 9) in New York City.

According to TMZ, the 57-year-old Saturday Night Live alum was battling a serious unknown illness.

In case you didn’t know, Jan was part of the SNL cast from 1986 to 1991 alongside greats like Chris Farley, Mike Myers, Phil Hartman, and Dana Carvey.

You may also remember her from her guest stint on 30 Rock and her role as Vicki on 3rd Rock from the Sun, which got her an Emmy nod in 1998.
