Bryan Cranston & Aaron Paul React to Death of Robert Forster, Their 'Breaking Bad' Co-Star

Aaron Paul and Bryan Cranston have released statements to pay tribute to their late Breaking Bad co-star Robert Forster, who just passed away at the age of 78.

Robert played the role of Ed Galbraith on the series and he reprised the role in the new movie El Camino, which premiered the same day he died. Read the tributes below…

Aaron: “I am heartbroken to hear the news of the passing of my dear friend Robert Forster. My god. I had the privilege of knowing this beautiful man and working along side of him. A true gentleman that loved to act. I love you my friend. Thank you for loving me back. You are and always will be a legend. 🖤”

Bryan: “I’m saddened today by the news that Robert Forster has passed away. A lovely man and a consummate actor. I met him on the movie Alligator 40 years ago, and then again on BB. I never forgot how kind and generous he was to a young kid just starting out in Hollywood. RIP Bob.”

Robert Forster Dead - Oscar Nominated 'Jackie Brown' Actor Dies at 78

Robert Forster has sadly passed away at the age of 78.

The Oscar nominated Jackie Brown actor passed away after a brief battle with brain cancer on Friday (October 12) at his home in Los Angeles.

Robert appeared in over 100 films and television series starting in the 1967 movie Reflections in a Golden Eye, opposite Marlon Brando and Elizabeth Taylor.

His other projects included Medium Cool, Alligator, American Perfekt, The Descendants, Firewall, Me, Myself and Irene and the return of Twin Peaks.

Robert most recent appearance was in El Camino: A Breaking Bad Movie, which was released on Friday (October 12) on Netflix.

Our thoughts are with Robert‘s family and friends during this difficult time.

Hilary Swank happily strikes a pose with her husband Philip Schneider while attending the special Bleeker Street screening of her latest film What They Had held at the iPic Westwood on Tuesday (October 9) in Westwood, Calif.

Hilary Swank & Michael Shannon Team Up in 'What They Had' Trailer - Watch Now!

Hilary Swank and Michael Shannon are in the midst of a family crisis in the new trailer for their upcoming drama What They Had.

In it, the 43-year-old P.S. I Love You actress and the Shape of Water actor, also 43, play a brother-sister duo dealing with their mother’s Alzheimer’s disease.

The film hails from first-time writer/director Elizabeth Chomko and also stars Blythe Danner, Robert Forster, Taissa Farmiga, and Josh Lucas.

Here’s the synopsis: Bridget (Hilary) returns home to Chicago at her brother’s (Michael) urging to deal with her ailing mother (Blythe) and her father’s (Robert) reluctance to let go of their life together.
