Robert Lopez Becomes First Person Ever to Double EGOT!

Robert Lopez just became the first person in history to achieve a double EGOT!

This means the 43-year-old composer has won two (or more) of each award – an Emmy, Oscar, Tony and Grammy.

Robert completed his second EGOT when he and his wife Kristen Anderson-Lopez won the Oscar for Best Original Song for Coco‘s “Remember Me” during last night’s ceremony.

He completed his first EGOT back in 2013, which has only been achieved by 11 other people including Mel Brooks and Whoopi Goldberg.

In total, Robert holds 2 Grammys, 3 Tonys, 3 Emmys, and 2 Oscars.

It looks like he could complete his third EGOT in no time!

Frozen's 'Let It Go' Is an Early Grammys 2015 Winner Tonight!

One of the big winners early on at the 2015 Grammy Awards was Frozen!

The smash hit movie won the award for Best Song Written for Visual Media for “Let It Go,” written by Kristen Anderson-Lopez and Robert Lopez.

If you didn’t know, Robert was already an EGOT after winning an Oscar this year and now his wife Kristen is getting there too. They are pictured below walking the red carpet together!

Other songs nominated in the category were The Lego Movie‘s “Everything Is Awesome,” The Hobbit‘s “I See Fire,” Glen Campbell: I’ll Be Me‘s “I’m Not Gonna Miss You,” and Her‘s “The Moon Song.”
