Robert Pattinson looks dapper on the purple carpet at the 2012 LACMA Art + Film Gala held on Saturday (October 27) in Los Angeles.

The evening celebrated the art of the film and brought together luminaries from both communities. The gala honored artist Ed Ruscha and filmmaker Stanley Kubrick, coinciding with two new exhibits at the museum.

Rob just returned to Los Angeles after traveling abroad to do promotion for his new film The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 2.

The duo just returned back to L.A. after doing some promotional events for their upcoming flick The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 2 – Kristen was in Tokyo, while Robert took on Sydney.

Since the Rupert Sanders cheating scandal, there have been rumors the two have gotten back together.

“There’s still healing to do and trust issues,” a source told People, “but Kristen will do whatever it takes.”

Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson make separate exits out of LAX Airport after arriving from international flights on Thursday (October 25) in Los Angeles.

The 22-year-old actress arrived on a flight from Japan while Rob, 26, arrived on a flight from Australia. They both were abroad doing promotional events for their new film The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 2.

Rob arrived at LAX just a couple hours before Kristen did, but they took separate transportation home.

Robert Pattinson wears a “New York” beanie and sunglasses while making his way into the airport on Thursday (October 25) for a flight out of Sydney, Australia.

The 26-year-old actor attended a photo call and an event for fans to promote his new film The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 2.

“The sex scene in this one is pretty ridiculous,” Rob recently said in an interview (via Us Weekly). “It’s just because you’re kind of shooting stuff to be PG-13 … It’s just trying to think of inventive ways to make something sexy. It can’t just be a normal sex scene. It’s supposed to be about, like, the greatest vampire sex you’ve ever had.”

Check out the brand new poster for The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 2 featuring Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart, and Taylor Lautner.

Breaking Dawn – Part 2 happens after the birth of Renesmee, when the Cullens gather other vampire clans in order to protect the child from a false allegation that puts the family in front of the Volturi.

A new featurette for the film was just released, which focuses on Breaking Dawn – Part 2 being the “final chapter” of the hit film series.

Make sure to check out Breaking Dawn – Part 2 when it hits theaters on November 16.

The 26-year-old actor took time to meet fans, sign autographs, and pose for photographs.

Robert recently talked about what it was like to shoot the fighting scenes for Breaking Dawn – Part 2.

“This one was hard,” Rob expressed. “I mean, we were shooting this big action sequence for about two and a half months in a massive warehouse where they normally sell cows, with a bunch of fake paper snow and green walls, and you literally started to go insane after a while! Yeah, it gets tough doing stuff like that, it gets a bit repetitive.”
