Robin Thicke Temporarily Loses Custody of Son, Claims Child Services Investigating Paula Patton

Robin Thicke has temporarily lost custody of his child Julian, 6, with ex wife Paula Patton.

On Thursday (January 26), Robin and Paula rushed to court, where they both were requesting temporary sole custody. Robin was denied, and the judge issued Paula a domestic violence restraining order, meaning Robin cannot go near Julian or Paula for the time being, TMZ reports.

In addition, Robin‘s lawyer is now claiming that the L.A. County Dept. of Children and Family Services is actually investigating Paula, and Robin apparently has been cleared as the accusations are unfounded.

It all started earlier this month when Robin was accused of child abuse. The custody arrangement has been in question since this incident.

This has been one of the first times the 39-year-old singer has been spotted out in public since the death of his father Alan Thicke back in December.

Robin and his ex-wife Paula Patton have been in an intense custody battle for the past few weeks after he was accused of child abuse.

Last week, the former couple reportedly attended therapy with their six-year-old son Julian in order to help mend their relationship.

Paula Patton & Robin Thicke Attend Therapy with Their Son Amid Custody Battle (Report)

Paula Patton and Robin Thicke allegedly attended a therapy session with their son Julian amid their reportedly messy custody case.

“While Julian did remain with his mother this weekend, the entire family — Paula, Robin and Julian — met with a therapist on Saturday. They are all working with the therapist to come to a resolution and are listening to whatever the therapist recommends. The plans are to continue working with the therapist in this way to resolve this. This is their plan to move forward,” a source told Us Weekly.

If you missed it, it was revealed last week that Robin was accused of child abuse after Julian told his school that he was hit by his father. This caused Paula to attempt to change their custody agreement. Later on in the week, Robin wanted to see Julian and brought sheriffs to Paula‘s home to attempt to see his son.

Robin Thicke Denied Custody After Bringing Sheriffs to Paula Patton's Home

Robin Thicke may have won a recent custody battle against his ex wife Paula Patton amid child abuse claims but he’s still having trouble seeing his six-year-old son Julian.

According to TMZ, after the custody hearing, Robin contacted Paula asking to take Julian for the night, which he is allowed to do, but she did not reply.

The following morning, Robin showed up to Paula‘s home with local sheriffs on the grounds she was violating their custody order.

After speaking with Julian, the sheriffs agreed that they would not take the child against his will, who reportedly said that he did not want to go with Robin.

Robin Thicke Accused of Child Abuse, Paula Patton Denied Request to Limit His Joint Custody

Robin Thicke has reportedly been investigated by the Department of Children and Family Services after his six-year-old son Julian told his mom Paula Patton and his school that he was hit by his dad.

Julian reportedly told his school that Robin spanked him more than once and the school reported the incident on January 3, at which time Paula filed an emergency order to restrict the contact that her ex would have with their son. She wanted him to only see Julian during monitored daytime visits.

In the documents filed, Paula said that Julian is scared of Robin and a school official filed a document noting that the six-year-old says his dad frequently “punches” him very hard, according to TMZ.
