Adam Lambert is set to join the cast of Fox’s upcoming The Rocky Horror Picture Show musical remake!

“I grew up watching Rocky Horror, but could never imagine that I would be part of this new vision. Rocky Horror always made me feel like it was OK to celebrate my weirdness. Hallelujah, bless my soul! I love that old time rock-n-roll!” the 33-year-old entertainer told THR.

Adam will play the role of Eddie in the new version. The role was originated by Meat Loaf in the 1970s film.

Victoria Justice, Ryan McCartan, Laverne Cox, Reeve Carney, and more are set to star.

Yet another classic is getting remade, this time it’s Rocky Horror Picture Show, according to Entertainment Weekly.

Fox will be reworking the 40-year-old film into a television movie, but it won’t be live like NBC’s musical remakes.

The movie, which originally starred Tim Curry, Susan Sarandon, and Barry Bostwick, is still performed live and shown in movie theaters to this day thanks to its cult following.

No word on who will star in the legendary roles, but whoever plays Dr. Frank-N-Furter has some pretty big shoes to fill.
