Mick Jagger 'Needs Medical Treatment,' Rolling Stones to Postpone Tour

The Rolling Stones are postponing their upcoming North American Tour, which was scheduled to begin on April 20.

A statement revealed that the band’s frontman Mick Jagger “has been advised by doctors that he cannot go on tour at this time as he needs medical treatment.”

We don’t currently know what Mick is dealing with, but we wish him a speedy recovery. “The doctors have advised Mick that he is expected to make a complete recovery so that he can get back on stage as soon as possible,” the statement continued.

Mick added in a statement, “I’m so sorry to all our fans in America & Canada with tickets. I really hate letting you down like this. I’m devastated for having to postpone the tour but I will be working very hard to be back on stage as soon as I can. Once again, huge apologies to everyone.”

Keith Richards Reveals He Has Stopped Drinking

Keith Richards says he is no longer drinking.

The 74-year-old Rolling Stones rock legend confirmed the news in a recent interview with Rolling Stone.

“It’s been about a year now. I pulled the plug on it. I got fed up with it…it was time to quit. Just like all other stuff,” he said.

“I don’t notice any difference really — except for I don’t drink. I wasn’t feeling [right]. I’ve done it. I didn’t want that anymore.”

However, he admitted that he still has a “glass of wine occasionally, and a beer.”

In the clip, directed by the acclaimed Francois Rousselet and shot by Newton Thomas Sigel, sees Kristen dancing it out and riding a vintage mustang around L.A.

“It didn’t take much more than a few words to get me amped on the idea. The Stones. A 65 Mustang. Alone in Los Angeles. And the shoot was just as dreamy as the idea,” Kristen said in a statement. “We tore LA apart in a day and we had one hell of a soundtrack.”

The Rolling Stones Take the Stage at Desert Trip!

Mick Jagger belts out a song while performing with The Rolling Stones during Desert Trip music festival on Friday night (October 14) in Indio, Calif.

The legendary group took to the stage to perform many of their hits including “Satisfaction” and “Can’t Always Get,” when they even brought a choir on stage!

After the show, the group shared their entire set list to their Instagram in a photo where tons of fans can be seen getting excited in the background.

“#StonesDesertTrip show 2 setlist,” they captioned the image.

Over the weekend, Desert Trip will be featuring other incredible musicians including Paul McCartney, The Who and Neil Young.

Mick Jagger & Rolling Stones Postpone Australian & New Zealand Tour After L'Wren Scott's Death

The Rolling Stones have postponed the remainder of their 14 ON FIRE tour in Australia and New Zealand following the tragic death of L’Wren Scott.

The Perth, Adelaide, Sydney, Melbourne, Macedon, Brisbane, and Auckland shows, ranging from the 18th of March to the 5th of April, have been postponed until further notice and will be rescheduled at some point.

Mick Jagger was in a relationship with L’Wren for over ten years before she was found hanging in her apartment on Monday (March 17).

Earlier today, Mick released a touching statement about his love.
