From solo superstars to girl group and boy band members, plenty of South Korean stars have become huge on Instagram. And based on the latest roundup of idol follower counts, we know who the most popular stars are on the social media platform!

Here’s one hint: the top four most-followed individual accounts are all in the same group! That same act just broke some Guinness World Records as well.

Shakira Reacts to BLACKPINK Rosé Covering 'Waka Waka'!

Shakira is loving Rosé!

The El Dorado superstar reacted to a video of the BLACKPINK superstar performing “Waka Waka (This Time for Africa)” during a recent appearance on a variety show on Twitter on Saturday (October 17).

“Oh wow! I loved seing you do that! super cute! Thanks Rosé – @ygofficialblink Ps. Love your hair!” she wrote on Twitter.

The record-breaking South Korean girl group performed their latest single, “How You Like That,” on SBS’s music program Inkigayo on Sunday (June 28) in South Korea.

The group uploaded their full performance on Instagram following the show.

Days before, BLACKPINK performed their comeback track for the first time live on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, where they also played a fun Try Not To Laugh Challenge with the late night TV host.

BLACKPINK are continuing to tease their exciting comeback!

The massively popular South Korean girl group just debuted a short teaser of the upcoming music video for their comeback track, “How You Like That,” on Tuesday night (June 23).

The girls have been sharing individual concept photos and short visual teasers ahead of the release of the song, which is due out on Friday (June 26).

In addition to releasing the song and music video, the girls will also appear on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon to perform the track for the first time.

BLACKPINK's Rosé Opens Up About the Group's Upcoming June Comeback

BLACKPINK‘s Rosé is talking new music!

The 23-year-old girl group superstar is on the cover of Elle Korea‘s July 2020 issue.

In her interview, Rosé discussed performing live recently on her Instagram.

“I wanted to show my fans myself enjoying music in the most natural way possible. I’m planning on covering songs often that I enjoy singing…lately, I’ve been thinking that each and every performance feels more and more special,” she said. (Translation via Soompi.)

She also discussed BLACKPINK‘s upcoming comeback in June, which they just announced earlier in the week.

“I’m excited. I hope that we can be a source of strength for people,” she sai.

“I think of my job as being to show a new energy when I get up on stage. I want to show various different colors, as a singer and as a performer.”

Three out of four members of the superstar South Korean girl group – Jennie, Jisoo and Rose – were spotted traveling together through Incheon International Airport on Friday (February 21) in Seoul, South Korea.

Rose and Jisoo were seen wearing face masks as all they moved through the airport, looking fashionable as they traveled to Japan for their scheduled concert at Fukuoka Dome on Saturday (February 22) – the final show on their BLACKPINK 2019 – 2020 World Tour In Your Area.

Their fourth member, Lisa, was in attendance at Prada‘s fashion show during Milan Fashion Week in Milan, Italy one day before on Thursday (February 20). See her look!

Chloe Moretz & BLACKPINK Members Rose & Jisoo Attend Coach's First Runway Show in China!

Chloe Moretz and Rose and Jisoo of BLACKPINK are looking chic at the Coach Lights Up Shanghai Runway Show held at West Bund Art Center on Saturday night (December 8) in Shanghai, China.

The brand presented Creative Director Stuart Vevers’ Pre Fall 2019 men’s and women’s collection at their first-ever runway show in China, which coincided with the brand’s 15th anniversary in China.

Chloe, who is currently the face of Coach‘s fragrance, was joined at the show by Chinese actor and brand ambassador Timmy Xu, Japanese actress and brand ambassador Kiko Mizuhara, Sui Jianguo, Thomas Bray, Zhu Jingyi; Guang Yu, Liu Wen, Hannah Quinlivan, AMIAYA, Nick Chou, Billie Wang; Dylan Xiong, Lawrence Wong, Vivian Li and Yvonne Ching.

The show was immediately followed by an after party, that included DJ sets from Timmy, Thomas and DJ Dazzy, breakdance performances and live graffiti art.
