Taylor Swift apparently said “no” to King Charles III.
Royal expert Omid Scobie claims in his new book Endgame that the 33-year-old “This Is Why We Can’t Have Nice Things” singer-songwriter turned down an offer to perform at the 75-year-old royal’s coronation, which took place back in May.
He also noted that plenty of other musicians also declined invitations to perform, adding that it was “a challenge” to find artists to perform for the event.

Kate Middleton tapped into her mother side and had some fun with a young girl during a sensory class in Sittingbourne, England on Wednesday (September 27).
The Princess of Wales made a visit to Portage, which supports children with disabilities and special educational needs and their families, as part of her Shaping Us campaign for the Royal Foundation Centre For Early Childhood Development.
In addition to little Beatrice, Kate was also seen spending time with a few other children who are affected by learning disabilities such as autism, and communications difficulties.
Kate also met their parents, as well as front line practitioners who assist the organization.
This is just the latest official visit from the Princess, who was a guest at two textile mills the day before.
For her visit to Portage, Kate wore a Zara blazer with Boden flats.

Kate Middleton has a big laugh with Zeb Akhtar, Senior Weaver Trainer, during her visit to AW Hainsworth.
The Princess of Wales stopped by the factory to learn more about the textiles made there, learning about the handcrafted techniques and more, in Leeds, England on Tuesday (September 26).
Kate even learned that her great-great grandfather sold William Lupton & Co to AW Hainsworth in 1958, so there is a personal collection to the mill for her.
AW Hainsworth has more royal connections, as it provided the fabric used for the anointing screen during King Charles III‘s coronation. Kate‘s youngest son, Prince Louis, also wore a tunic made from the fabric.
Later on in the day, Kate made a visit to Standfast & Barracks in Lancaster.
For her visit, Kate wore a deep green Burberry suit with coordinating Emmy London heels.

Princess Catherine was showing off her new fashion style while arriving at the Streets of Growth charity on Tuesday (September 19) in London, England.
The Princess of Wales made the official visit to the charity while husband, Prince William, is in New York City to promote the Earthshot Prize events coming up.
During her visit, Catherine spoke to frontline staff at the organization, which works to transform the lives of young people.
According to People, the group was formed after a trip to Roca in Boston, which Kate and William also visited in September.
Per the outlet, Kate spoke about the importance of the charity, saying that “young people get judged on their external behavior, but you have to understand their backstory. They haven’t probably seen trusting relationships in their lives, so that’s so important.”
Before William left for the States, he joined Kate for another visit to Madley Primary School’s Forest School.
