Rupert Grint has landed the lead role in Super Clyde, a new superhero series that CBS has ordered to pilot!

The 24-year-old Harry Potter actor will play “the title role of Clyde, the well-meaning and sweet yet slightly neurotic guy who never feels like he really fits in,” according to The Hollywood Reporter.

“The avid comic book reader considers himself a borderline agoraphobic with mild to severe anxiety issues who wishes he were a super hero himself,” the show’s description continues. “When Clyde inherits a $100,000 a month inheritance from his long-dead eccentric Uncle Bill, he decides that the cash will be his secret super power and will use it only for good and reward the good-hearted.”

Shia LaBeouf suits up while attending the premiere of his new film The Necessary Death of Charlie Countryman during the 2013 Berlinale International Film Festival held at Berlinale Palast on Saturday (February 9) in Berlin, Germany.

The 26-year-old actor was joined by his co-star Rupert Grint.

Earlier in the day, Shia and Rupert attended the reception for the film.

On the same day, Rupert promoted the film at a photo call at the Grand Hyatt Hotel.

Rupert Grint lets the flames fly as he carries the Olympic Torch at Middlesex University London on Wednesday (July 25).

“I don’t usually run for anything, but it was all downhill so I was OK,” the 23-year-old Harry Potter star told The AP. “It was all a bit of a blur. I’m just so proud to be a part of it.”
