Kristen Stewart has released a public apology for hurting her boyfriend of three years, Robert Pattinson.
The Twilight actress was caught with her Snow White and the Huntsman director, Rupert Sanders, in a series of PDA photos.
“I’m deeply sorry for the hurt and embarrassment I’ve caused to those close to me and everyone this has affected,” Kristen said in a statement Wednesday (via People). “This momentary indiscretion has jeopardized the most important thing in my life, the person I love and respect the most, Rob. I love him, I love him, I’m so sorry.”
Rupert, 41, is married to British Vogue model Liberty Ross. Rob, 26, and Kristen, 22, were last spotted together at the 2012 Teen Choice Awards. The final installment of their vampire tale The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn — Part 2 opens November 16.
