Emma Watson is in negotiations to join the cast of Darren Aronofsky‘s upcoming film Noah.

The 22-year-old English actress would play Ila, “a young woman who develops a close relationship with Noah’s son Shem,” Deadline reports.

Russell Crowe will star as the title character, while Douglas Booth will play Shem.

Emma‘s The Perks of Being a Wallflower co-star, Logan Lerman, will reportedly take on the role of Noah’s other son, Ham.

Jennifer Connelly “is one of the actresses in contention” to be cast as Noah’s wife.

Anne Hathaway sings her rendition of “I Dreamed A Dream” in the official teaser trailer for her upcoming flick, Les Miserables!

The 29-year-old actress plays Fantine in the Tom Hooper-directed film.

Russell Crowe and Eddie Redmayne get into character on the set of their movie musical Les Miserables on Thursday (April 12) in Greenwich, England.

Eddie, 30, who plays the role of Marius, was joined on set by Gossip Girl actor Aaron Tveit, who is playing the role of Enjorlas.

Russell, 48, who is taking on the role of Inspector Javert, has been trying to get in plenty of workouts lately, but it seems his singing lessons are getting in the way!

“200 m in the pool, not much, between singing lessons, the boys and the rain it was all I could do,” Russell tweeted.

Russell Crowe may soon be boarding the Ark in the upcoming film Noah.

The 47-year-old actor is in talks to play the title character in Darren Aronofsky‘s Biblical film, which could begin filming this July.

“In Aronofsky’s take on the classic tale, Noah is a man who loves Earth and all of its animal inhabitants, but has become disillusioned with the way humans have treated their planet,” Variety‘s Showblitz reports.

Russell is currently working on the big screen adaptation of Les Miserables and can also next be seen in the Superman action flick Man of Steel.

Russell Crowe is currently in negotiations to take the role of Jor-El in the highly anticipated franchise reboot Superman: Man of Steel, according to Variety.

The 47-year-old Oscar-winning actor would take on the role of Superman’s biological father, made famous by Marlon Brando‘s cameo in 1978′s Superman.

Superman: Man of Steel will star Henry Cavill in the title role, Amy Adams as Lois Lane, Kevin Costner as Jonathan Kent, Diane Lane as Martha Kent, and Michael Shannon as General Zod.

Russell is currently filming the action flick The Man With the Iron Fists.
