Melissa Joan Hart is synonymous with Sabrina The Teenage Witch, a millennial fave from late 1990s and early 2000s.

The 47-year-old actress took on the role of the character in the 1996 movie, before it was turned into a television series that went on for 7 seasons until 2003.

Melissa Joan Hart had to pose for photos with Britney Spears on what she described as “the worst day of my life.”

The 47-year-old Sabrina the Teenage Witch actress looked back on the day that she and Britney hit the red carpet together at the premiere for her movie Drive Me Crazy while on the Pod Meets World podcast.

“If you look at my eyes and how red they are, I had been crying all evening,” Melissa said about a photo of the pair on the carpet. “At the time I thought this was the worst day of my life.”

Melissa Joan Hart Celebrates 'Sabrina The Teenage Witch's 25th Anniversary

Melissa Joan Hart is looking back on Sabrina The Teenage Witch, which is celebrating it’s 25th anniversary of the television show she starred in.

The 45-year-old actress took to social media to share a sweet tribute in her time as the titular character.

“It’s been brought to my attention that 25 years ago today, Sept 27, 1996, our show first aired on ABC for 7 seasons,” she shared with a series of photos from the show.

Melissa added, “The little engine that could we called it since it was in the shadows of the largely anticipated show #Clueless but it persevered and we got to steal @reddonovan to come over to our fun cast.”

She continued, “Tons of talented guest stars, musical acts and magic tv tricks over the years. Full of friendships and crazy memories, it was an incredible ride to be sure! Thanks for the love and support to help us do what we love to do, make people smile!! Happy #SabrinatheTeenageWitch Day!”

The series also starred Caroline Rhea, Beth Broderick, Nick Bakay, Nate Richert, Jenna Leigh Green, Martin Mull, Lindsay Sloane, David Lascher, Soleil Moon Frye, Elisa Donovan and Trevor Lissauer.

Sabrina The Teenage Witch, based off the comic book series, ran from 1996 to 2003.

Just recently, Melissa went through a breakthrough case of COVID-19.

Woman Charged With Felony Embezzlement After Failing to Return 'Sabrina the Teenage Witch' VHS Tape After 21 Years

Sabrina the Teenage Witch is causing deep trouble for one woman.

Caron McBride, who resides in Texas, had a tape of the movie rented in her name 21 years ago in Oklahoma, just recently learned she faced a felony embezzlement charge, ABC 7 Chicago reported Sunday (April 25).

“The first thing she told me was felony embezzlement, so, I thought I was gonna have a heart attack,” she explained of a call from the Cleveland County District Attorney’s office in an interview.

Kiernan Shipka Cast as 'Sabrina the Teenage Witch' in Reboot

Kiernan Shipka has officially landed the coveted starring role in the Sabrina the Teenage Witch reboot!

The 18-year-old Mad Men actress and Just Jared spotlight star will play Sabrina Spellman in the upcoming Netflix series based on the Archie Comics graphic novel The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina.

“We’re all such huge fans of Kiernan‘s work that when we started talking about who this new incarnation of Sabrina could be, her name was on everyone’s wish list. This is a darker, more macabre version of Sabrina, and we’re incredibly excited for people to see Kiernan make this iconic character her own,” executive producer Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa said in a statement.

The untitled series will follow Sabrina, an empowered young woman, half-human, half-witch, as she begins her dark education as a sorceress and tries to maintain a normal life as a high school sophomore.

It has been greenlit for two seasons on Netflix.

'Sabrina The Teenage Witch': Live Action Superhero Movie?

Get ready for a blast from your past – Sabrina The Teenage Witch will hit the big screen in a live action superhero flick!

The precocious teen witch from the 1960s comics, who was famously played by Melissa Joan Hart in the 90s sitcom, will be recast as a superhero, according to Deadline.

The film will be “an origin story in the vein of Spider-Man, about a young girl coming to terms with her remarkable powers.”

Everyone’s favorite talking cat Salem will be back for the film, who here is “a transformed prince creating unique love stories for Sabrina.”

Sony Pictures is helming the film with Andrew Barrer and Gabriel Ferrari, who wrote the upcoming flick Die in a Gunfight, writing the script.
