One moment from the Oscars that you didn’t see on television was when the four women who lost in the Best Actress category gathered for a group hug after Frances McDormand‘s win!

The four actresses – Meryl Streep, Margot Robbie, Saoirse Ronan, and Sally Hawkins – shared the moment near the end of the 2018 Academy Awards held at the Dolby Theatre on Sunday (March 4) in Hollywood.

During her speech, Frances asked all of the female nominees, in every category, to stand up for a moment of recognition.

After accepting the award, Frances joined the women in the audience to share some hugs as well!

Sally Hawkins and Octavia Spencer reunited on the red carpet at the 2018 Academy Awards!

The Shape of Water co-stars hit the red carpet at the award ceremony on Sunday (March 4) at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood.

During the ceremony, Sally is up for Best Actress while Octavia is up for Best Supporting Actress.

Shape of Water is also nominated for Best Picture, Best Original Screenplay and Best Original Score, among many others.

The actresses were joined at the event by their Shape of Water director Guillermo Del Toro.

The Shape of Water led the nominations this year with 12 nods, including Best Film, Best Director and Best Original Screenplay for Guillermo, Best Actress for Sally, and Best Supporting Actress for Octavia.

Guillermo went home with the Best Director prize!

Sally, who is up for Best Actress for The Shape of Water, was joined by nominated co-stars Octavia Spencer and Richard Jenkins, as well as nominated director Guillermo Del Toro.

Also stepping out for the event were Laura Dern and Patton Oswalt with new wife Meredith Salenger.

The 53-year-old filmmaker won the award for Best Director and was joined by his film’s stars Sally Hawkins and Richard Jenkins.

Also at the event were fellow nominees Christopher Nolan, with wife and Dunkirk producing partner Emma Thomas, and Martin McDonagh, with his Three Billboards actor Sam Rockwell.

Allison Janney presented the award for Best Director of a Television Series – Drama to The Handmaid’s Tale‘s Reed Morano.

Sally Hawkins got colorful on the carpet at the 2018 Screen Actors Guild Awards!

The 41-year-old Shape of Water actress stepped out at the award ceremony at the Shrine Auditorium on Sunday (January 21) in Los Angeles.

She was also joined by her co-star Richard Jenkins and his wife Sharon R. Friedrick.

During the ceremony, Sally was up for Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Leading Role and Richard was nominated for Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor in a Supporting Role.

Tune in for the SAG Awards, hosted by Kristen Bell and featuring all-female presenters, TONIGHT at 8pm ET/5pm PT on TNT and TBS.
