Sam Heughan is speaking out about his very first audition for the role of James Bond.
In a new interview, the 42-year-old Outlander star recalled the story about when he auditioned for Bond 21. Daniel Craig ultimately landed the role of James Bond in the following films, but now, producers are looking for the next star to assume the role of 007.

Sam Heughan went for a charity motorcycle ride last weekend and he looked so good while on the bike!
The 42-year-old Outlander actor was among the riders during the Distinguished Gentleman’s Ride for leading men’s health organization Movember on Sunday (May 22) in London, England.
The worldwide event raises awareness and funds for men’s prostate cancer and men’s mental health, and since 2012 has raised over $31 million. Sam raised $54,000 himself!
Sam shared a video from the event and wrote on Instagram, “HUGE THANK YOU!!!! – to everyone that donated for such a great cause. @movember Wonderful day out in Edinburgh for @gentlemansride. Great meeting everyone and sharing our passion, whilst supporting a good cause. So proud of everyone that generously donated. I’m bowled over, so so generous! Thank you.”

Sam Heughan and Caitriona Balfe are sharing their thoughts on Outlander season 6!
The dramatic finale episode found Jamie and Claire barricaded inside their home as they faced off against Richard Brown (Chris Larkin) and his militia. Brown had come to force Claire into standing trial for the murder of Malva Christie, which both Claire and Jamie knew would not end well.
The pair are seen having a heartfelt discussion as to whether this could truly be the end of the line for them, before Tom Christie (Mark Lewis Jones) arrives and says he’ll ensure there’s a fair trial. In the finale’s final moments, Jamie and Claire are separated and the episode ends on a major cliffhanger as Jamie races back to save his wife.
In an interview with Variety, Sam and Caitriona spoke about the season’s dramatic conclusion and what may happen to their characters in the future.
