Thandie Newton hosts a private dinner to celebrate the Jimmy Choo pre-fall collection “The Season” on Wednesday (May 22) at Clifton Nurseries in London, England.

The 40-year-old Rogue actress was joined at the event by Les Miserables‘ Samantha Barks.

The unique setting of Clifton Nurseries in Little Venice, was transformed by contemporary floral artist Rebecca Louise Law who created a spectacular floral installation for the event. Guests dined under a stunning canopy of artfully suspended flowers in shades of pink.

Samantha Barks laughs with joy on the set of her new film The Christmas Candle on Thursday (February 28) in Oxfordshire, England.

The 22-year-old actress was joined on the set by her co-star Susan Boyle, who will be making her feature film debut in the flick.

“Everyone on set is a delight to work with, and it’s a fantastic experience to be part of the team,” Susan said about working on the project (via THR). “I’m really enjoying getting dressed in the period costumes and stepping back in time, and although it’s very cold filming on location, I’m wearing long johns under my bustle.”

“Having just landed from the Academy Awards, I had an hour to unpack and repack and get to set. I’m very excited to be part of The Christmas Candle, and I’m loving every second,” Samantha added.

Hugh Jackman and Anne Hathaway lead a performance from the cast of Les Miserables at the 2013 Academy Awards held at the Dolby Theatre on Sunday (February 24) in Hollywood.

The actors were joined by their co-stars Russell Crowe, Amanda Seyfried, Eddie Redmayne, Samantha Barks, Aaron Tveit, Sacha Baron Cohen, and Helena Bonham Carter.

The performance started off with Hugh singing the Oscar-nominated song “Suddenly” and then segued into Anne performing a snippet of “I Dreamed a Dream” before the cast sang “One Day More”.

In case you missed the news, Anne won the award for Best Supporting Actress for her portrayal of Fantine in the film!
