Sanaa Lathan is entering The Twilight Zone!

The 47-year-old The Affair actress will be joining the first season of the upcoming CBS original series, and will star in the episode “Rewind,” the network announced on Thursday (October 11).

As previously announced, Jordan Peele will host and narrate the new series.

The original The Twilight Zone premiered on October 2, 1959 on CBS, and became a worldwide phenomenon.

While the new episodes are not yet available, you can stream older episodes of the fan favorite series on CBS All Access right now.

Tiffany Haddish is on the cover of THR‘s latest issue, and she’s finally ending the mystery of which celeb bit Beyonce at a party last year.

Rumors swirled it was actress Sanaa Lathan, but she denied the story.

During her THR interview, the writer whispered the name “Sanaa Lathan” to Tiffany.

Tiffany responded, without directly naming Sanaa, “I’m super good friends with her stepmom and her dad [Stan, a producer-director], and they were mad at me. They were like, ‘Why would you do this to the family? You know, black actresses, you guys have to stick together, it’s so hard for you guys to get work as it is, why would you try to ruin her career?’ But I didn’t try to ruin her career. I never said her name! I was just trying to say how Beyonce kept me from goin’ to jail that night. I coulda just shut my whole career down.”

Tiffany said there was no fallout from it all: “The other day, someone was saying, like, ‘Oh my God, you should keep your mouth shut ’cause now you’re never gonna be invited to parties,’ but I got invited to way more parties after that,” she tells me. “It’s ridiculous how many parties. ‘Can you come to my party?’ ‘Can you come to my thing?’ They want me to talk about something at their thing ’cause they think, like, ‘This is gonna put me back on if Tiffany says something.’”

Actress Sanaa Lathan is on the cover of Health magazine’s June 2018 issue.

In her interview, the 46-year-old actress responded to the rumor that she is the person who bit Beyonce at a party last year, as witnessed by Tiffany Haddish.

Sanaa was asked, “how did you first hear about the infamous ‘Beyoncé bite’ news?

“Yeah, it blew up,” Sanaa responded. “And I think it’s the most absurd thing I’ve ever been involved with. Thank God I’ve been in this business for 20 years and have had so many rumors about me. They used to devastate me in my 20s, but in order to survive in this business, you just have to let it roll. I adore Beyoncé. I would never do anything malicious like that—to her, or to anyone. It’s so bizarre. I thought it was the funniest thing ever that it was a news story. It’s so crazy.”

Somebody apparently bit Beyoncé on the face – and it’s quickly becoming one of the year’s most buzzed-about scandals.

So what happened, exactly?

It all started when Tiffany Haddish revealed in a GQ story published on Monday (March 26) that an actress “doing the mostest” bit Bey on the face at a party last December.

Tiffany originally wanted to beat the actress up, but Bey reportedly begged her not to, insisting the biter was “on drugs.”

Chrissy Teigen then chimed in on social media later that day, claiming that she believed she knew who bit Beyonce.

Actresses began to come out of the woodwork over the next 24 hours to deny that they were the culprit: Sanaa Lathan and Sara Foster denied any wrongdoing on social media, while Tiffany confirmed it was not Taraji P. Henson. Chrissy then revealed she knew who it was – and it wasn’t who she was expecting. Jennifer Lawrence and Scarlett Johansson‘s names were thrown into the conversation on social media early on, but neither of them were at the party, ruling them out as well.

Despite her denial, Sanaa has been accused by TMZ of being the biter, according to “multiple sources.”

Tiffany also defended her decision not to act out at the party on social media on Tuesday (March 27): “The Queen 🐝 kept me from doing something half of you Bees would have done no matter what. To me she is a Shero and a Great person I have learned so much from her in just a short amount of time,” she wrote.

TMZ is reporting that Sanaa Lathan is, in fact, the woman who bit Beyonce on her face at a party, according to a story told by Tiffany Haddish.

Apparently, “multiple” sources have said that Tiffany is telling people that Sanaa is the culprit. However, the publication is also reporting that the bite was “playful and noninvasive,” but did catch Beyonce off guard.

Sanaa denied that she bit Beyonce on Twitter, writing, “Y’all are funny. Under no circumstances did I bite Beyonce and if I did it would’ve been a love bite.”
