Sara Bareilles Drops Live Concert Album from 'Amidst the Chaos' Tour - Listen Now!

Sara Bareilles has officially released her live concert album, Amidst the Chaos: Live from the Hollywood Bowl!

The Grammy-winning singer promoted the album release earlier this month by returning to the Hollywood Bowl and performing a show for an empty theater while fans watched on a YouTube stream. Renee Elise Goldsberry, Busy Philipps, and Paula Pell, who are Sara‘s castmates in the just-released Peacock series Girls5eva, were special guests at the concert.

The concert album was recorded during Sara‘s Amidst the Chaos tour on November 2, 2019 at the iconic venue in Los Angeles.

The live album features 21 songs, including three tracks from her Broadway musical Waitress and collaborations with Emily King and The Milk Carton Kids.

Sara Bareilles Releases Live Version of 'She Used to Be Mine,' Concert Special to Air on YouTube

Sara Bareilles has released the live version of “She Used to Be Mine” from her upcoming live concert album Amidst the Chaos – Live from the Hollywood Bowl.

For those who don’t know, “She Used to Be Mine” is a song that Sara wrote for the Broadway musical Waitress. There are rumors swirling that the show might be returning to Broadway later this year with her as the star!

The album will be released on May 21, but Sara is celebrating the album a little bit early with an exciting new concert special that will air live on her YouTube page.

The concert album is a recording of Sara‘s November 2019 show at the Hollywood Bowl and she’s returning to the famed Los Angeles venue for a mini-concert on May 7. The show will air at 7pm ET and it will air on Sara‘s YouTube channel.

Renee Elise Goldsberry, Busy Philipps, and Paula Pell, who are Sara‘s castmates in the just-released Peacock series Girls5eva, will be special guests at the concert.

Sara Bareilles Is 'Obsessed' with Boyfriend Joe Tippett's New Show 'Mare of Easttown'

Sara Bareilles is loving her boyfriend Joe Tippett‘s new series Mare of Easttown!

For those that don’t know, Joe plays the character John Ross on the new series. He is the husband of Mare’s best friend Lori.

Three episodes of the series have aired so far and Sara took to her Instagram Stories to rave about the show, which is getting great reviews from both fans and critics.

“Joe – I am legitimately obsessed with Mare of Easttown on HBO and I don’t care who *knows it (*said with the DelCo ‘O’),” Sara wrote in the post.

Mare of Easttown is about a detective (Kate Winslet) in a small Pennsylvania town who investigates a local murder while trying to keep her life from falling apart. The show airs on Sunday nights on HBO and HBO Max.

You might also recognize Joe from his roles on the NBC series Rise, the Hulu limited series The Act, the Apple TV+ series The Morning Show, and the Lifetime movie Patsy & Loretta.

Sara Bareilles Announces New Live Concert Album, Drops First Track!

Sara Bareilles has announced that she will be releasing a new live concert album, Amidst the Chaos – Live from the Hollywood Bowl.

The concert was recorded live on November 2, 2019 during her show at the iconic Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles. The live album will feature 21 songs, including three tracks from her Broadway musical Waitress and collaborations with Emily King and The Milk Carton Kids.

Sara of course performed her hit songs like “Brave,” “Love Song,” and “Gravity” during the show and the encore song was her Grammy-winning track “Saint Honesty.”

“The Hollywood Bowl has been a dream of mine since I was probably 18 years old. I knew I would never want to forget it. So we made a record. I never could have known that the shows on this tour would be the last ones I would play for a very long time so I am so proud to remember what it feels like to be together in music, and in sacred spaces like @hollywoodbowl. Preorder now for an instant download of the opening of the show,” Sara wrote on Instagram.

Sara Bareilles Leads a Girl Group Comeback in 'Girls5eva' Trailer - Watch Now!

Sara Bareilles is heading to television in the new comedy series Girls5eva and Peacock just released the show’s first trailer!

In the new series, a one-hit-wonder girl group from the 90’s gets sampled by a young rapper, so its members reunite to give their pop star dreams one more shot. They may be grown women balancing spouses, kids, jobs, debt, aging parents, and shoulder pain, but can‘t they also be Girls5eva?

Also starring in the series are Busy Philipps, Renee Elise Goldsberry, Paula Pell, Ashley Park, and Erika Henningsen as the younger version of Paula’s character.

Tina Fey is among the executive producers and she actually has a connection to both Erika and Ashley. They starred in the Broadway musical version of her movie Mean Girls!

All eight episodes of Girls5eva will be available to stream on Peacock on May 6.

Sara Bareilles Teases That She's Going to Drop Previously Unreleased Songs on New EP

Sara Bareilles fans have something to look forward to as she teased that she has new music on the way!

The Grammy-winning singer is seemingly getting ready to drop an EP featuring her previously unreleased songs. She teased the news on Twitter on Monday (March 8) by jokingly saying she has a friend who needs help coming up with a name for the EP.

“Happy international women’s day! If i theoretically had a friend that was going to release previously unreleased songs on a few Eps…what would you call that? Asking for a friend. The lost EPs? Hmm,” Sara tweeted.

One fan replied, “idk ma’am but could you please put parking lot on spotify.” Sara wrote back saying, “I need a title first.” This basically confirms that the EP is hers!

Sara Bareilles Finally Gets Her Grammy, One Year After She Won the Award

Sara Bareilles has been a Grammy winner for over a year, but she finally has her award in her possession!

The 41-year-old singer won the Grammy Award for Best American Roots Performance for her song “Saint Honesty” at last year’s ceremony, which took place on January 26, 2020.

Sara was unable to attend the event because she was starring in the musical Waitress in London at the time.

“Long road to this sweet moment. Just arrived today. One year later. Feeling all the joyful feelings,” Sara captioned a video, captured by her longtime boyfriend Joe Tippett, of the Grammy in her new home.

Sara is currently filming the upcoming Peacock comedy series Girls5Eva, which is being produced by Tina Fey. Check out the photos we posted from the set back in October.
