Sarah Palin's Son Track Marries Britta Hanson

Sarah Palin‘s son, Track, recently married Britta Hanson in a small ceremony in their home state of Alaska, People reports.

The 22-year-old Army Reservist tied the knot with his high school sweetheart, Britta Hanson, 21, in Hatcher Pass.

“Our families couldn’t be happier! These are two hard working, humble, active, studious young adults who grew up together. We’re tickled that after two decades of friendship we proudly witnessed their marriage, knowing their new life together will be blessed,” both families said in a statement to the magazine.

Track, who spent a year deployed in Iraq, plans to enroll at the University of Alaska – where Britta is a nursing student – after the commercial fishing season.

Tina Fey brings her infamous Sarah Palin imitation back to life during a return to Saturday Night Live over the weekend.

The 40-year-old 30 Rock actress and Bossypants author served as the host of the episode and appeared as Palin during a sketch about the Republican presidential debate.

“First I wanted to acknowledge that this week we vanquished one of the world’s great villains, and I for one am thrilled to say ‘good riddance to Katie Couric,” she said.

Julianne Moore is set to portray Sarah Palin in an HBO Films adaptation of Game Change.

Julianne, 50, will play Sarah in the story of what went on behind the scenes during the 2008 presidential election.

The Wrap notes that Danny Strong wrote the screenplay and that he and director Jay Roach previously worked together on HBO’s Recount, the story of Florida’s vote recount in the 2000 election season.

Can’t wait to see Julianne take on the role of Sarah Palin!!

Sarah Palin has been crowned one of Barbara Walters‘s 10 Most Fascinating People of 2010!

The 46-year-old former Alaska governor and Vice Presidential candidate reveals she is seriously considering a run for the White House and believes she can beat President Obama in 2012.

“I’m looking at the lay of the land now,” Palin says. “[I'm] trying to figure that out, if it’s a good thing for the country, for the discourse, for my family, if it’s a good thing,”

When asked if she ran for president, could she beat Barack Obama?

“I believe so,” replied Palin.
