Beyonce and her hubby Jay-Z attend the 2012 Sports Illustrated Sportsman of the Year Awards presentation held at Espace on Wednesday (December 5) in New York City.

The 31-year-old singer and the 43-year-old rapper joined LeBron James and his partner Savannah Brinson at the event.

LeBron was awarded with the Sportsman of the Year prize. Congrats!

LeBron James has popped the question to his high school sweetheart Savannah Brinson!

The basketball superstar, who celebrated his 27th birthday over the weekend, asked Savannah to marry him at a New Year’s Eve bash at Shelborne South Beach’s SL Nightclub in Miami, sources confirm to JustJared.com.

“Congrats to LeBron. @KingJames and Savannah so happy 4 u guys,” Miami Heat owner Micky Arison tweeted during the evening.

LeBron had a winning birthday the day before by scoring 34 points, eight rebounds, and 10 assists in the Heat’s 103-101 victory over the Minnesota Timberwolves.

LeBron and Savannah have two children together: LeBron Jr., 7, and Bryce, 4.

The 25-year-old shirtless basketball superstar recently announced via a special broadcast on ESPN that he will be leaving the Cleveland Cavaliers to join the Miami Heat this fall.

LeBron and Savannah have two children together; LeBron, Jr., 5, and Bryce, 3.
