It’s over for Ashley Tisdale and music video director Scott Speer, JustJared.com can confirm.

The 26-year-old actress and Scott, 29, who began dating in spring of 2009, previously teamed up for Ashley‘s “He Said She Said,” “Not Like That,” “Suddenly,” “It’s Alright, It’s OK,” and “Crank It Up,” videos.

“They had been on and off for a while. They tried to work it out but realized their relationship ran its course,” a source told Us Weekly, which first reported the news.

The two were last spotted together grabbing coffee a few days after Thanksgiving.

The 25-year-old actress shared the hosting duties at the event with her Hellcats co-stars Robbie Jones, Matt Barr, and Heather Hemmens. Ashley tweeted that she was celebrating her birthday with her pals, even though her actual b-day was back in July!

Ashley spent some time at the party cuddling with her boyfriend Scott Speer and swimming around in the pool together. The High School Musical star’s BFF Vanessa Hudgens even showed up for the bash!

Ashley Tisdale was seen making out with her new boyfriend, music video director Scott Speer, while waiting in his car at a stoplight at 1AM in Los Angeles on Tuesday (April 21).

The 23-year-old singer/actress didn’t know she was being taped but when she noticed the videographer, Ashley turned bright red and hid her face in Scott‘s shoulder. How cute!

Earlier in the evening, The Tizz attended the premiere party for Justin Timberlake‘s The Phone at MyHouse.

Ashley Tisdale holds on tight to her rumored new boyfriend, music video director Scott Speer, on Saturday (April 18) in Malibu, Calif.

Speer, 26, has directed Tisdale, 23, in four of her music videos — “He Said She Said,” “Suddenly,” “Not Like That,” and the upcoming “It’s Alright, It’s OK” (the first single from Ashley‘s upcoming album Guilty Pleasure).

Speer has said, “Ashley is an exceptionally talented artist and a great person to work with.”
