The final trailer for Scream 5, aka Scream, is finally here and it shows Dewey teaching the new generation of Woodsboro how to survive a horror film.

Here’s a synopsis: Twenty-five years after a streak of brutal murders shocked the quiet town of Woodsboro, a new killer has donned the Ghostface mask and begins targeting a group of teenagers to resurrect secrets from the town’s deadly past. Neve Campbell (“Sidney Prescott”), Courteney Cox (“Gale Weathers”) and David Arquette (“Dewey Riley”) return to their iconic roles in Scream alongside Melissa Barrera, Kyle Gallner, Mason Gooding, Mikey Madison, Dylan Minnette, Jenna Ortega, Jack Quaid, Marley Shelton, Jasmin Savoy Brown, and Sonia Ammar.

The film is in theaters everywhere this Friday. Be sure to check it out!

The newest (and final) poster for Scream 5, aka Scream, just debuted online and there appears to be a big clue on it!

The tagline on the poster reads: “The Killer Is on This Poster.” This could be a reference to many cast members being labeled as possible suspects, or, the fact that Ghostface himself is included int he poster.

The new character posters for Scream are teasing the return of Ghostface!

The fan-favorite horror movie franchise has dropped three new legacy character posters in anticipation of the new film, featuring the original film’s stars Courteney Cox, David Arquette and Neve Campbell.

The cast of Scream 5 had fake scripts!

The cast of the highly anticipated next installment in the Scream franchise just wrapped production on the movie in October, and now, producer William Sherak is opening up about the movie with Cinema Blend.

During the chat, William confirmed that some of the cast don’t actually know the identity of Ghostface in the sequel. And to keep that a secret, they handed out multiple versions of the script during filming.

“I think the two things to remember for us. One is there are multiple versions of the draft out there and most of the cast don’t know if they have the right version or not. So, we’ve been playing that game with them as well. And the fun of a Scream movie is that everyone is guilty until proven innocent, not the other way around. So, the goal is to keep that going for as long as possible and have fun with it,” he explained.

The movie is set to hit theaters on January 14, 2022.

The film stars Melissa Barrera, Kyle Gallner, Mason Gooding, Mikey Madison, Dylan Minnette, Jenna Ortega, Jack Quaid, Marley Shelton, Sonia Ammar, and Jasmin Savoy Brown. Original stars Courteney Cox, David Arquette and Neve Campbell are also starring!

Executive producer Kevin Williamson announced, “That’s a wrap on Scream, which I’m excited to announce is the official title of the next film! Nearly 25 years ago, when I wrote Scream and Wes Craven brought it to life, I could not have imagined the lasting impact it would have on you, the fans.
