Lana Del Rey Collaborates with The Weeknd & Sean Lennon for New Album

Lana Del Rey just revealed that she’ll have some major collaborations on her upcoming album!

While being interviewed by Courtney Love, the 31-year-old musician shared that The Weeknd and Sean Lennon will be featured on Lust for Life.

“I have Abel [Tesfaye], The Weeknd. He is actually on the title track of the record, ‘Lust for Life’. Maybe that’s kind of weird to have a feature on the title track, but I really love that song and we had said for a while that we were gonna do something; I did stuff on his last two records,” Lana explained.

She also added that Sean will be singing on a track called “Tomorrow Never Came.”

Lana said, “When I wrote it I felt like it wasn’t really for me. I kept on thinking about who this song was for or who could do it with me, and then I realized that he would be a good person…I played it for him and he liked it. He rewrote his verse and had extensive notes, down to the mix.”

Carrie Fisher Wrote a Song with Sean Lennon Before Her Death - Listen to 'Bird Song'

Before she passed away last year, Carrie Fisher wrote a song called “Bird Song” with her close friend Sean Lennon and he just released the audio of the demo featuring Willow Smith‘s vocals.

“This is only a demo unmixed, we only had a few hours to record it,” Sean wrote on his SoundCloud account. “But the lyrics she wrote with me I think are marvelous. Carrie and I used to stay up until dawn chatting and pontificating about life. They were my best moments. Anyway… we wrote a song about staying up too late and hearing the birds sing.”

Willow Smith is a prodigal angel and was generous enough to lend her golden voice to this little tune,” he added.
