ABC Shares First Look at 'The Little Mermaid Live' Cast In Character!

We have your first look at The Little Mermaid Live!

The special, live event will star Auli’i Cravalho as Ariel, Queen Latifah as Ursula, Graham Phillips as Prince Eric, John Stamos at Chef Louis, and Shaggy as Sebastian, in a celebration the 30th anniversary of the beloved animated movie through a never-before-seen hybrid musical featuring intricate live sets, costumes and music from the original animated film and the Tony-nominated Broadway stage version.

Not only do we get our first look at each character, but there are also clips of each character singing songs from their character!

“I’ll see you under the sea for @abcnetwork’s #TheLittleMermaidLive!” Queen Latifah wrote on Instagram.

The Wonderful World of Disney Presents The Little Mermaid Live! will air in about one month on Tuesday, November 5th at 8pm on ABC!

Moana's Auli'i Cravalho to Play Ariel in ABC's Live 'Little Mermaid' Concert!

ABC is moving forward with the live concert production of The Little Mermaid and the initial casting has been announced!

Auli’i Cravalho, who voiced the title character in the Oscar-nominated movie Moana, is playing Ariel and Queen Latifah is set to play Ursula.

Reggae singer Shaggy is going to play Sebastian.

The live event will happen in front of a studio audience and it will air on Tuesday, November 5 at 8pm. The special will interweave the live performances with clips from the animated movie. Music from the Broadway stage version of the musical will be included.

A live concert production of The Little Mermaid has been staged at the Hollywood Bowl two times so far, with Sara Bareilles and Lea Michele leading the casts. The film played on a big screen and whenever a song happened, the film would pause and the actors would come out on stage to perform the number.

There’s also a live film adaptation starring Halle Bailey in the works!

Enrique Iglesias, Ne-Yo, & More Perform at KTUphoria Concert

Enrique Iglesias hits the stage at 103.5 KTU’s KTUphoria concert at Jones Beach Theater on Saturday (June 16) in Wantagh, New York.

The 43-year-old Spanish singer was joined by Ne-Yo at the event. The two guys also took the stage to perform with Pitbull.

Also on the concert lineup were Charlie Puth, Dua Lipa, Sting with Shaggy, and boy bands Backstreet Boys and 98 Degrees.

In case you missed it, earlier in the weekend, Enrique and his partner Anna Kournikova shared some super adorable photos of their twins while watching one of the 2018 World Cup soccer matches.

Shawn Mendes & Kylie Minogue Perform at Queen Elizabeth's Birthday Party!

Shawn Mendes hits the stage to perform at Queen Elizabeth‘s 92nd birthday party on Saturday night (April 21) at the Royal Albert Hall in London, England.

The 19-year-old singer looked handsome in pink-tinted suit and white shirt as he performed a couple of his songs during the party.

Other performers at the party included Kylie Minogue, Shaggy, and Sting.

Also in attendance at the birthday party was British hunk Luke Evans.

Anders Holm, Adam Devine & Blake Anderson Premiere New Netflix Film 'Game Over, Man' - Watch Trailer!

Anders Holm, Adam Devine and Blake Anderson join forces on the red carpet while attending the premiere of their new Netflix film Game Over, Man! held at the Regency Village Theatre on Wednesday (March 21) in Westwood, Calif.

The three stars were joined at the event by their co-stars Steve Howey and Sam Richardson, as well as the film’s producer Seth Rogen and director Kyle Newacheck.

Also in attendance to show their support were Robbie Amell, Jillian Bell, Andrew Bachelor, Steve-O and his fiancé Lux Wright, JJ Totah and Shaggy.

The 39-year-old late night television host invited Sting and Shaggy for a New York City edition of Carpool Karaoke on the subway in a funny segment that aired during the 2018 Grammy Awards held at Madison Square Garden on Sunday (January 28) in New York City.

The two musicians paired up to perform “Englishman In New York” and “Don’t Make Me Wait” at the 2018 Grammy Awards held at Madison Square Garden on Sunday (January 28) in New York City.
