Shakira clings to boyfriend Gerard Pique‘s side with her baby bump on display on Wednesday (November 14) in Barcelona, Spain.

The 35-year-old singer and her beau announced in September they were expecting their first child together.

Shakira, who is a UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador, recently visited young girls in Azerbaijan to discuss the importance of continuing education and girls development.

“The government of Azerbaijan, as well as the civil society in general, should work hand-in-hand to be able to guarantee that every child goes to school,” Shakira shared.

Shakira and her love Gerard Pique are expecting their first baby together, the singer has confirmed on her Facebook page!

“As some of you may know, Gerard and I are very happy awaiting the arrival of our first baby! At this time we have decided to give priority to this unique moment in our lives and postpone all the promotional activities planned over the next few days,” the 35-year-old singer wrote.

“This means I will not be able to be a part of the iHeartRadio Music Festival, but I’m sure this weekend in Las Vegas will be spectacular and I will be closely following everything that happens there!” she added.

It was just confirmed that Shakira will be joining season four of The Voice next year alongside Usher.

Usher and Shakira will be replacing Christina Aguilera and Cee Lo Green on season four of The Voice, which is set to debut in the spring. Adam Levine and Blake Shelton will remain on the coaching panel. Christina and Cee Lo are expected to return for season five.

“We are thrilled to welcome Usher and Shakira to The Voice. The addition of these popular iconic artists continues the tradition established by Christina, Cee Lo, Adam and Blake,” NBC Entertainment chairman Robert Greenblatt said in a statement. “Doing two back-to-back cycles of this show requires a tremendous amount of time, and we are happy to accommodate the commitments made by Christina and Cee Lo. The participants on our show benefit from our coaches’ expertise and their continued success in the music business allows for significant new contributions to the contestants when they return.”

“Being a coach on The Voice is a wonderful experience and the relationship amongst us all is like an extended family,” Christina said in her own statement “As I have expressed since day one of the show, that I am a singer and performer first and I am so excited to get back to that love. Since this year NBC and The Voice have decided to tape back-to-back seasons, requiring a full-year commitment, it is important for me to take Season 4 off, allowing me to support my music that my fans have been waiting for.”

“I’m highly enthusiastic about focusing my undivided attention on my additional endeavors and interests. I will return for Season 5 and will be watching Season 4. NBC is home, and as far as Usher and Shakira are concerned mi casa su casa,” Cee Lo said.

The song comes off of the 31-year-old entertainer’s upcoming album Global Warming!

The video was directed by David Russo, who also worked on some other Pitbull hits including “Give Me Everything,” “Back In Time,“ and “International Love”.

Pitbull‘s US tour is slated to end on August 12, with planned stops outside of the country later this year.

That same day, Shakira‘s soccer star boyfriend Gerard Pique competed for Spain in the Euro 2012 and earned a place in the semi-finals after a 2-0 win over France.

The 35-year-old Colombian pop star is in the country while Gerard competes for Spain in Euro 2012.

Shakira‘s rep recently shot down reports she and Gerard were expecting their first child together.

She also took to Twitter to dispel a rumor that she might be posing in Playboy.

“Absolutely untrue. But get used to it guys, u know that every week they make up something new ;)” Shakira wrote.
