Maggie Q looks flawless as she arrives at The CW’s Upfront held at Jazz at Lincoln Center on Thursday (May 19) in New York City.

The 31-year-old actress shone in a summery yellow dress as she posed with her Nikita cast mates Shane West and Lyndsy Fonseca.

Their action drama has been picked up by The CW for a second season!

Here’s what the 33-year-old Nikita star, who modeled dressed up and dressed down looks for the mag, had to share:

On his go-to piece: “[My vintage leather cap] really makes an ensemble sometimes. It can work with everything from jeans to a suit.”

On feeling more comfortable dressed up: “I can get in and out of a suit a lot quicker than I used to, and I feel a lot more at ease in one now. At 32, it feels like the perfect time for me to adopt this style.”

On dressing age appropriate: “I did that [ripped jeans] more when I was younger; now I save my casual jeans for appropriate occasions. I’m a little more conservative now.”

On learning from classic films: “I buy any movie I don’t know anything about, from 1940s flicks to current ones. Black and white. Subtitles. It’s all an education.”

Mehcad Brooks joins Nikita‘s Shane West and Chase‘s Jesse Metcalfe in a shoot for the October 2010 issue of Cosmopolitan magazine (featuring cover girl Lauren Conrad!)

Shane West hits the set for his new TV show Nikita being filmed in the city of Toronto in Ontario, Canada on Monday (August 9).

The 32-year-old A Walk to Remember and ER actor stars opposite Maggie Q in the new spy series coming to CW.

Shane plays an agent pursuing a rogue spy, Nikita, in the new show. Producers have stressed that this show is not a reboot of the La Femme Nikita series but a continuation of that storyline. You can catch Nikita Thursday, September 9th on the CW this fall.

Maggie Q rubs shoulders with fellow CW star Ashley Tisdale during the Summer TCA Party at California’s Beverly Hilton Hotel on Wednesday (July 28).

The day after, the 30-year-old actress and co-star Shane West hit the stage during the Nikita panel.

Q shared, “There’s a hook after every episode on Nikita. There’s always this thing that makes you go, ‘What?’ and makes you want to tune in for the next week. And it’s all very real. It’s not contrived, it’s not something that we’re cheesily trying to hook you in with. It genuinely is just solid storyline and, ‘I want to know why that person did this or where they’re going with this’.”

Nikita premieres on Thursday (September 9) @ 9PM ET/PT on The CW.

Shane West shows off his birthday cake as he celebrates at Lavo nightclub on Friday (June 11) in Las Vegas, Nevada.

The actor, who turned 32 late last week, enjoyed an Italian dinner before partying with friends, cake and cocktails!
