Shannen Doherty got the support of many other working actors after she called out the SAG-AFTRA organization and its president Fran Drescher.
The 51-year-old actress is currently undergoing treatment for cancer, and she took to social media to put the organization’s health insurance coverage on blast.
After doing so, a multitude of stars rushed to the comments section to react with words of affirmation and love.

Shannen Doherty is celebrating a win.
The 50-year-old actress has won her lawsuit against State Farm Insurance, after the company refused to pay out what she was clearly covered for in her policy.
State Farm reportedly didn’t want to pay Shannen to rebuild her home in Malibu after it was damaged by the wildfires, according to TMZ.
The site reports that her attorney, Devin McRae, will be filing a payout consistent with the jury’s verdict in the amount of around $6.3 million, which will cover her home, and any personal belongings she lost, as well as emotional distress and attorneys fees.
In addition, Shannen recently gave an update about living with Stage 4 cancer.

Sarah Michelle Gellar holds on to a few bags while shopping with Shannen Doherty at the Malibu Country Mart just outside of Los Angeles on Monday (October 5).
The two best friends and actors wore their masks while out running some errands together during the afternoon.
The two picked up some food to go for their families after shopping for some new personal items.

Shannen Doherty is opening up about her cancer journey in the new issue of Elle magazine.
The 49-year-old actress and filmmaker walked the magazine from her diagnosis to today, and revealed what the future holds for her.
“When I got cancer the first time, it was this really beautiful thing, because it finally stripped all of that away. Those walls were, like, eliminated. That sort of childhood resentment—19 to me is childhood—was gone,” Shannen shared while discussing how she had planned a dinner with her closest friends and her doctor to break the news to them of the cancer’s return.
She continued, “I was like, ‘Okay, do I have good karma? Do I have bad karma? Why would I have bad karma?’ I started taking stock of my life and the things I’d done, and the things I hadn’t done. How I was with people.”
After receiving the call that her cancer has metastasized, she says that “what I came out with was, I have good karma. It may not seem like it, but I’ve been a really good human being.”
Shannen adds that she’s not even close to done with the things she wants to do in her professional or personal life.
“I haven’t sat down to write letters. That’s something I need to do,” she said. “There are things I need to say to my mom. I want my husband to know what he’s meant to me.”
“But whenever it comes time for me to do it, it feels so final. It feels like you’re signing off, and I’m not signing off,” she added. “I feel like I’m a very, very healthy human being. It’s hard to wrap up your affairs when you feel like you’re going to live another 10 or 15 years.”
“It’s like anybody with Stage IV faces this sort of thing, where others want to put you out to pasture,” Shannen shared. “I’m not ready for pasture. I’ve got a lot of life in me.”

Jason Priestley is opening up about Shannen Doherty‘s health.
The Beverly Hills, 90210 actor opened up about his co-star’s battle with stage 4 terminal cancer in an interview with Angela Bishop for Studio 10.

“Last time I heard from her she was in pretty good spirits,” he said.
He also revealed that he reaches out to her “every few months just to check in on her and say hi.”
“Shannen’s a real tough girl. Shannen’s a fighter, and she’s always been a fighter. I know that she will continue to fight as hard as she can.”
Back in February, Shannen revealed the difficult news of her diagnosis in court documents.
