Sean Penn had the support from celeb friends while hosting the 2022 CORE Gala.
The 61-year-old Oscar-winning actor walked the red carpet at the event on Friday night (June 10) at the Hollywood Palladium in Los Angeles.
Some of the celebs in attendance included Sharon Stone, Soleil Moon Frye, Patrick Stewart, Rachel Zoe, Balthazar Getty, and Cheyenne Jackson.
Also there, but not pictured here, were former President Bill Clinton and singer John Legend, who performed during the event. Guests sipped on specialty Casamigos cocktails including a Casa Paloma and a Spicy Cucumber Jalapeno Margarita.
This year, the organization – which stands for Community Organized Relief Effort – focused on providing relief in Ukraine. Ukraine’s President Volodymyr Zelenskyy issued a powerful video message to attendees urging continued support for the country’s fight against the Russian invasion.

The 64-year-old The Flight Attendant actress rocked sunglasses and a red shimmering dress to the premiere of Elvis held during the 2022 Cannes Film Festival on Wednesday (May 25) at the Palais des Festivals in Cannes, France.
Other stars in attendance included Casey Affleck and girlfriend Caylee Cowan, Conor McGregor and longtime girlfriend Dee Devlin, Bollywood actress Deepika Padukone, French model Agathe Rousselle, Slave Play playwright Jeremy O. Harris, The Vampire Diaries actress Kat Graham, House of Gucci actress Madalina Ghenea, Lamb actress Noomi Rapace, Passing director Rebecca Hall, and Batwoman actress Wallis Day.

Sharon Stone is making her first appearance on the trailer for The Flight Attendant, where she plays the mom to Kaley Cuoco‘s character Cassie!
Here’s the synopsis of the second season: Cassie Bowden (Cuoco) is living her best sober life in Los Angeles while moonlighting as a CIA asset in her spare time. But when an overseas assignment leads her to inadvertently witness a murder, she becomes entangled in another international intrigue. The season filmed in Los Angeles, Berlin and Reykjavik.
Returning for season two are Zosia Mamet, Griffin Matthews, Deniz Akdeniz and Rosie Perez. T.R. Knight, Yasha Jackson and Audrey Grace Marshall are all guest starring this season as well.
