Rapper Shawty Lo has sadly passed away after a car accident on Wednesday (September 21) in Atlanta, Ga.
The 40-year-old rapper was ejected from his 2016 Audi when it crashed in the early morning hours, TMZ reports. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Shawty Lo‘s manager confirmed the tragic news on his Twitter account.
“My brother has passed he is no longer here but his spirit, his kind heart , and his music will live on Long live Shawty Lo King of Bankhead,” the Twitter wrote.
