Alex Rider is coming to an end.

The spy thriller series will finish its with the upcoming third season, with all 8 episodes debuting on Friday (April 5) on Amazon Freevee in the UK, U.S. and Germany.

Based on the best-selling book franchise, Alex Rider is a London-based teenager who, unbeknownst to him, has been trained for the dangerous world of espionage since he was a child.

Via Deadline: Season 3 sets the teenage spy on the tail of his greatest enemy: the elusive criminal network known as Scorpia. Under new leadership, the criminal cabal plan to extort the British Government using their catastrophic new super-weapon: ‘Invisible Sword.’ Free of The Department and aided by his closest friends, Tom and Kyra, Alex embarks on a personal mission to destroy Scorpia once and for all. Little does he know, his ties to both organisations run deeper than he ever thought possible.

Great news from Amazon’s Prime Video today: Gen V has been renewed for a second season, Deadline reports!

If you don’t know, the series is set in the same universe as another Prime Video series The Boys. Gen V takes place in a college setting.

The show is not even done with season 1 as episode five is set to release on Friday. The finale is set to air on November 3.

Here’s what the show is all about: Set in the diabolical world of The Boys, Gen V expands the universe to Godolkin University, the prestigious superhero-only college where students train to be the next generation of heroes—preferably with lucrative endorsements. You know what happens when supes go bad, but not all superheroes start out corrupt.

Beyond the typical college chaos of finding oneself and partying, these kids are facing explosive situations … literally. As the students vie for popularity and good grades, it’s clear that the stakes are much higher when super powers are involved.

When the group of young supes discover that something bigger and sinister is going on at school, they’re put to the test: Will they be the heroes or the villains of their stories?

The Boys‘ upcoming spinoff officially has a title.

The new series is billed as “an irreverent, R-rated series that explores the lives of hormonal, competitive Supes as they put their physical, sexual and moral boundaries to the test, competing for the best contracts in the best cities. It’s part college show, part Hunger Games — with all the heart, satire, and raunch of The Boys,” per Variety.

The cast made the announcement about the show’s name on Friday (July 15) in a video shared to the The Boys‘ social media accounts.

The casting for Bridgerton season two is rounding out and they’ve added two more to the cast today!

The Netflix hit is expected to start filming soon and we’re hoping for a season two debut date ASAP! Season one of the show debuted at the very end of 2020, and unfortunately, one of the show’s stars, Rege-Jean Page, will not be returning for season two.
