HBO Renews 'Game of Thrones,' 'Veep,' & 'Silicon Valley'

Game of Thrones has been officially renewed for season seven by HBO!

HBO also handed out early renewals to Veep and Silicon Valley. All three shows are set to premiere new seasons this coming Sunday.

Noticably missing from the announcement was how many episodes the new Game of Thrones will feature, as news recently broke that the creators may want shorter seasons. There is only expected to be eight seasons of Game of Thrones.

Be sure to tune in to HBO this coming Sunday to see the return of the three shows.

'Silicon Valley' Cast Gets Individual Covers for 'Wired' Mag

Thomas Middleditch reads a copy of Wired magazine featuring his Silicon Valley cast members on the cover for his own individual cover of the mag, on newsstands March 28.

Other cast members on the cover are TJ Miller, Zach Woods, Kumail Nanjiani, and Martin Starr. Here is what they shared with the mag:

TJ on the new comedy economy: “Most of our friends who are successful in comedy are the ones working in at least three different disciplines. The best way to become a successful comedian in our day and age is to become the most well-rounded comedian, with the strongest and deepest skill set.”

Martin on being offered Silicon Valley: “I knew that it was a great possibility that this show will not be as appreciated as perhaps we feel it deserves to be. You know that everything’s fleeting, everything’s passing.”

Zach on the new comedy economy: “Maybe you don’t get fat and happy and complacent, and you don’t buy a bunch of catamarans. But in return you get to do your weirdo ideas with your friends, as opposed to some sitcom that you sleepwalk through.”
