Dakota Johnson sparkles in her dress while walking the red carpet at the Saturday Night Live 40th Anniversary Celebration held at Rockefeller Plaza on Sunday (February 15) in New York City.

The 25-year-old actress stepped out at the event held during her movie Fifty Shades of Grey‘s massive opening weekend at the box office.

The film grossed $81.7 million for the three-day weekend and it became the highest opening weekend ever for a female director thanks to Sam Taylor-Johnson‘s direction.

Bradley Cooper and Betty White lock lips and make out hardcore in the brand new The Californians sketch at the Saturday Night Live 40th Anniversary Celebration held at Rockefeller Plaza on Sunday (February 15) in New York City.

The 40-year-old actor and 93-year-old comedian played two California residents in the dramatic/comedic soap opera-esque sketch. Turns out that Bradley impregnated Betty‘s character!

Will Ferrell makes a return as Alex Trebek in the fan favorite sketch Celebrity Jeopardy during the Saturday Night Live 40th Anniversary Celebration held at Rockefeller Plaza on Sunday (February 15) in New York City.

The 47-year-old funny guy was joined in the sketch by Darrell Hammond as Sean Connery, Kate McKinnon as Justin Bieber, Alec Baldwin as Tony Bennett, Norm MacDonald as Burt Reynolds, Taran Killam as Christoph Waltz, and Jim Carrey as Matthew McConaughey.

Kenan Thompson also made an appearance as Bill Cosby, which was explained as a pre-taped scene from June. Watch the full skit below!

Jason Sudeikis and his wife Olivia Wilde walk the red carpet while attending the Saturday Night Live 40th Anniversary Celebration held at Rockefeller Plaza on Sunday (February 15) in New York City.

The two stars weren’t the only hot couple at the event – former cast members Seth Meyers and Andy Samberg brought their wives, Alexi Ashe and Joanna Newsom, respectively.

Also in attendance were Fred Armisen, Bill Hader, and Paul Rudd.

“Live from New York, it’s Sunday Night Live! #SNL40 #40ShadesOfFunny,” Olivia tweeted before the event started.

Steve Martin takes the opening number to the next level by delivering a hilarious opening monologue on the Saturday Night Live 40th Anniversary Celebration held at Rockefeller Plaza on Sunday (February 15) in New York City.

The 69-year-old legendary comedian was joined on the stage by past hosts Tom Hanks, Alec Baldwin, Melissa McCarthy, Chris Rock, Peyton Manning, Miley Cyrus, Billy Crystal, Paul Simon and Paul McCartney.

Each of the former hosts comes on stage to take offense to something Steve said – watch below! And tune into the special, currently airing on NBC.

Justin Timberlake and Jimmy Fallon got the honor of opening up the Saturday Night Live 40th Anniversary Celebration held at Rockefeller Plaza on Sunday (February 15) in New York City.

The guys performed an original musical number that was the “History of SNL” and referenced a ton of the famous sketches from the past four decades.

Some of the highlights from the opening were when Molly Shannon did a cameo as her Superstar character Mary Katherine Gallagher and Rachel Dratch made an appearance as Debbie Downer. The “D-ck in a Box” moment also got lots of cheers!
