Princess Sofia of Sweden is pregnant and expecting her first child with Prince Carl Philip!
The 30-year-old pregnant royal and 36-year-old Prince will welcome the baby in April of 2016.
“We are so happy and excited to announce that we are expecting our first child. We are very much looking forward to it,” Prince Carl Philip and Princess Sofia said in a statement.
The couple married over the summer.

Sofia wore a white gown created by the Swedish designer Ida Sjöstedt, which was made from silk crepe overlaid with Italian silk organza.
The dress is very reminiscent of the Sara Burton for Alexander McQueen gown that Kate Middleton wore at her wedding to Prince William back in April 2011.
The night before, the couple hosted a pre-nuptials dinner with family and friends.

The 35-year-old royal was joined by his bikini-clad fiancee Sofia Hellqvist for a day of fun on the yacht. They were spotted diving off the ship along with snorkeling gear to check out the sea creatures.

“I was nervous,” the prince said of the proposal (via Hello! Magazine). “I woke up several times the night before, I do not know if Sofia noticed. I wanted it to be a surprise.”

The press release continued that the date has not been decided, but will take place sometime next summer.
The King of Sweden gave consent to his son before asking the Swedish government for approval of the marriage.
Sofia, 29, a former model, has been with the Prince since 2010.
