Young cousins Sophia Grace Brownlee and Rosie McClelland, who rose to fame with the help of Ellen DeGeneres on her show The Ellen DeGeneres Show, have landed their own television show, according to Deadline.

The NBC television comedy show will be executive produced by Ellen and her company A Very Good Production.

The company is also producing a direct-to-video feature which will star both Sophia Grace and Rosie in leading roles.

Here’s the plot of the movie: The girls are sent to be correspondents at a royal coronation: one of three princesses is going to be chosen to lead the country. The two girls find themselves caught up in royal intrigue as they help the best candidate win the throne. Production on the film, done through Warner Bros’ home video division, starts next month.

Broadway actress Lilla Crawford will be playing the the role of Little Red Riding Hood in the movie musical Into the Woods, a part previously believed to be given to television personality Sophia Grace Brownlee.

Disney has confirmed that Lilla, who most recently originated the title role in the Broadway revival of Annie, will be playing the “smart and spunky girl who journeys into the woods, finding unexpected adventures along the way.”

Last month, it was reported that Sophia Grace, who is known for her appearances on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, would be playing the role.

“Sophia Grace is starring in the movie ‘Into the Woods’ w/ Meryl Streep! The role of a lifetime. Also big for Sophia,” Ellen DeGeneres had tweeted.

Sophia Grace Brownlee has reportedly been cast as Little Red Riding Hood in the highly anticipated film Into the Woods!

The 10-year-old singer’s uncle Lucas tweeted, “Its official, @PrincessSGB (sophia grace brownlee) has landed the part of little red riding hood in the disney movie in to the wood.”

Sophia would join a talented cast, which includes Meryl Streep, Johnny Depp, Anna Kendrick, Emily Blunt, and Chris Pine.

Sophia rose to fame while appearing on episodes of The Ellen DeGeneres Show, where she would perform hits such as Nicki Minaj‘s “Super Bass” and “Starships.”

The 10-year-old singer was joined by Roshon Fegan and her cousin Rosie McLelland, who makes normal appearances with her on The Ellen DeGeneres Show.

Sophia was directed in the music video by Matt Alonzo, who has worked on music videos for Soulja Boy, Ice Cube, Pitbull, and the Far East Movement.

Sophia Grace Brownlee and Rosie McClelland hit the purple and orange carpet at the 2013 Kids’ Choice Awards held at the USC Galen Center on Saturday (March 23) in Los Angeles.

The cute cousins, who no doubt will be filling Ellen DeGeneres in on their fun day at the show, wore their signature tutus on the carpet!

“I will be at the #KCA’s today, Its going to be SO GOOD @NickelodeonTV Xxx,” Sophia Grace tweeted before the show.

“So excited to see you all tomorrow xxx #KCA xxx,” Rosie tweeted the day before.

Russell Brand sits between Ellen Degeneres‘ biggest fans Sophia Grace and Rosie during his appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, airing today.

On the show, the 36-year-old funnyman spoke with Ellen about his ex Katy Perry.

“I still, love her as a human being. But, sometimes when you’re in a relationship I suppose it doesn’t work out, does it?” Russell said. “But that doesn’t mean I regret it or anything. I was very happy to be married with her. She’ s such a beautiful human being and I just have only love and positivity for her.”

“You can’t absolutely make everything the way you want it to be in life,” Russell continued. “Just remain beautiful. That is still a person I still consider to be beautiful and I have nothing but positivity for her.”
