Benedict Cumberbatch proudly displays his medal of honor while at Buckingham Palace on Tuesday afternoon (November 10) in London, England.

The 39-year-old Sherlock actor was joined by his wife Sophie Hunter as he accepted the Commander of the Order of the British Empire award for his services to the performing arts and to charity.

“It’s fantastic, it’s quite nerve-wracking, there is nothing really that prepares you for it,” Benedict said of the honor. “It’s a unique occasion and I feel very privileged to be here and flattered to be recognized in this way.”

This was also the first time that Benedict had met the Queen of England.

He added, “It was wonderful, it was the first time I’ve ever met her and to meet her and be honored by her was extraordinary.”

Johnny Depp keeps close to Amber Heard while attending a screening of his new movie Black Mass held during the 2015 BFI London Film Festival at Odeon Leicester Square on Sunday (October 11) in London, England.

The 52-year-old actor was also joined on the red carpet by co-star Benedict Cumberbatch and his wife, Sophie Hunter.

Black Mass follows the true story of Whitey Bulger, the brother of a state senator and the most infamous violent criminal in the history of South Boston, who became an FBI informant to take down a Mafia family invading his turf.

Benedict Cumberbatch and his wife Sophie Hunter pose for photos at the Burberry Prorsum show during London Fashion Week Spring/Summer 2016/17 held at Kensington Gardens on Monday (September 21) in London, England.

The pair was joined at the event by Sienna Miller, Kate Moss, Paloma Faith, and Naomie Harris, who all sat in the front row at the show.

Benedict and Sienna were co-stars in the new movie Black Mass, which came out this weekend. Unfortunately, Sienna‘s role was cut from the film during editing.

Benedict Cumberbatch and Sophie Hunter welcomed a newborn baby boy back in June, and it looks like we finally know the little one’s name…Christopher Carlton Cumberbatch!

Rumors began spreading over the weekend that the 39-year-old actor and 37-year-old director named their son Christopher, and People is now reporting the rumors are true.

Benedict and Sophie married back in February on Valentine’s Day.

Congrats again to Benedict and Sophie on their wonderful new addition — we can’t wait to see his first photo!

Also in attendance at the match that day was Sienna Miller, who sat next to power agent Ari Emanuel.
