Star Trek Discovery‘s Sonequa Martin-Green is in talks to join Space Jam 2!
The movie is set to star NBA superstar LeBron James in the CG animation/live-action hybrid sequel, THR reports.
The first Space Jam film starred Michael Jordan and was released in 1996.
Plot details are currently being kept under wraps and it’s said that Sonequa will play the female lead but no further details have been made immediately available.
The film currently has a release date of July 16, 2021. Stay tuned for more casting news!
