It was a close call, but John Boyega made it the premiere of Star Wars: The Last Jedi!

The 25-year-old actor looked handsome in a navy suit and turtleneck has he walked the red carpet at the premiere of his new movie on Saturday night (December 9) at the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles.

Earlier today, it was reported that John might have to miss the premiere because his flight out of Atlanta was cancelled because of the snow.

Thankfully, the snow cleared out in time and John was able to make it in time!

“I made it ! Without luggage but wooooooooohoooo! As if weather can stop a Nigerian kmt,” John tweeted once he landed in LA.

Joining John at the premiere were his co-stars Adam Driver and Domhnall Gleeson.

Star Wars: The Last Jedi hits theaters on December 15.

Lupita Nyong’o and Laura Dern make their entrances on the red carpet for the premiere of Star Wars: The Last Jedi on Saturday night (December 9) at the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles.

Some of the other stars from the film at the premiere included Gwendoline Christie and newcomer Kelly Marie Tran.

Lupita took her fans behind-the scenes of her red carpet prep with an Instagram post.

“Red Carpet prep. Getting the foundation right is winning half the battle. I use @lancomeofficial Teint Idole Ultra 500 for the highlights, 550 for the lowlights and 560 to work with that inevitable Australian tan. Always best to have a few shades to change with your changes,” she said.

Daisy Ridley shows off the frills on her dress while giving a twirl on the red carpet at the Star Wars: The Last Jedi premiere on Saturday (December 9) at the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles.

The 25-year-old actress, who plays the role of Rey, was first up at the event.

It’s bound to be a star-studded evening in downtown Los Angeles for the world premiere of the highly anticipated sequel to The Force Awakens.

The world premiere of Star Wars: The Last Jedi is tonight (December 9) in Los Angeles, but the film’s star John Boyega might not be there due to snow delays.

The 25-year-old actor tweeted that morning that he is currently in Atlanta and he can’t get a flight out of the city due to severe winter weather.

“Wow ATL. Looks like no one’s leaving! Guess I’ll start a family now….” John tweeted. “Cold! My thighs won’t even generate the heat anymore.”

He later added, “Trying to get back for the LA premiere! I actually NEED a pilot!!!” The film’s directed Rian Johnson replied, “Hahahaha oh my god. GET HERE JOHN!”

The newly released trailer for Star Wars: The Last Jedi just got even more emotional.

The film stars the late Carrie Fisher, who sadly died in December, in her final film appearance as General Leia Organa. Plenty of fans tuned in on Monday (October 9) to watch the premiere of the trailer – including Carrie‘s beloved therapy dog, Gary.

“Just watched the new trailer of The Last Jedi and my mom looks more beautiful than ever. #garymisseshismom #garyloveshismom #garyloveshisfans #garyfisher #thelastjedi #starwars,” Gary “wrote” on his Instagram.

The Last Jedi hits theaters on December 15.
