Alexander Skarsgard shows up to support his dad Stellan at the premiere of the flick The Avengers on Wednesday (April 11) at the El Capitan Theatre in Hollywood.

The 35-year-old Battleship actor’s dad stars in the superhero flick as Professor Erik Selvig, a character that he previously played in Thor.

Daniel Craig and Rooney Mara premiere their new movie, The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo, on Tuesday (December 13) at the Sergel Theatre in Stockholm, Sweden.

The 26-year-old actress and Daniel, 43, hit the red carpet with co-star Stellan Skarsgard, director David Fincher, and screenwriter Steven Zaillian.

The night before, Rooney and Daniel attended the film’s premiere in London.

Alex, who is dating actress Kate Bosworth, recently was asked if his dad asks him for advice about Hollywood. He shared, “Yes, a lot. He says, ‘Buy a house and make sure it has a guest house. Then I can come visiting and clean your pool.’ That’s his plan. (laughs)”
