Tom Holland Pays Tribute to 'Spider-Man' Co-Creator Steve Ditko Following His Death

Tom Holland is paying tribute to the late co-creator of Spider-Man.

The 22-year-old actor took to his Twitter to write a note to Steve Ditko, who created the comic alongside Stan Lee.

“We all want to leave our mark on the world – this guy crushed it. He made so many people so happy and changed lives – most of all, mine! Thank you Steve – your life lives on man, thank you,” Tom wrote.

Steve passed away at age 90, after reportedly suffering a heart attack.

Tom is currently filming Spider-Man: Far From Home, the sequel to Spider-Man: Homecoming.

Spider-Man co-creator Steve Ditko has sadly passed away at age 90.

The legendary comic book artist, who worked with Stan Lee on Spider-Man as well as Doctor Strange, died on June 29 at his apartment in New York City.

According to TMZ, Steve‘s death was caused by a heart attack brought on by clogged arteries.

While Stan went onto become the face of Marvel and “The Godfather of Comic Books,” Steve chose to maintain his privacy and refused to do interviews and public appearances.

Steve reportedly continued to work at a Manhattan studio until at least 2012.
