The story of how Kim Kardashian got to the hospital unnoticed to give birth to her baby North was told by her mom Kris Jenner on the debut episode of her talk show Kris on Monday (July 15)!
The 32-year-old reality star was trying to set up a Father’s Day surprise for her boyfriend Kanye West with Apple co-founder Steve Wozniak (who drove down from San Francisco to spend the weekend with the pair) when she had to unexpectedly go to the hospital to give birth due to a “medical emergency.”
Kris said that she picked Kim up in her car after doing a talk show appearance and had to hide her daughter under a blanket in the back seat so she wouldn’t be noticed. While under the blanket, Kim told her “I’ve gotta call Steve Wozniak. He’s here and I don’t know what to do. What should I tell him?”
On the way to the hospital, Kim and Kris stopped at a hotel to privately switch into a separate car to continue on their way when they happened to run into Steve in the parking lot! Kim pretended like nothing was going on and greeted him and his wife, and then they got on their way to the hospital so she could give birth.
Kris said that Steve visited Kim in the hospital on Father’s Day, which is when Kanye received his gift of a signed Apple mouse from both him and Steve Jobs.
