Michael Fassbender and Gina Carano arrive at the Haywire premiere during the Berlin International Film Festival on Wednesday (February 15) at Berlinale Palast in Berlin, Germany.

The co-stars, joined by fellow cast members Antonio Banderas, Natascha Berg, and director Steven Soderbergh, hit the red carpet after promoting the action flick at a photo call earlier in the day.

“I find it really interesting the adrenaline that you get filming,” Gina, a mixed martial arts star, told reporters. “It’s a more prolonged adrenaline than, say, fighting, which is a lot more harsh.”

“I found out that I got my ass kicked better than I kick ass,” Michael quipped.

Blake Lively sparkles in Dolce&Gabbana at a screening for the new movie Haywire on Wednesday (January 18) at Landmark Sunshine Cinema in NYC.

Also walking the black carpet at The Cinema Society and BlackBerry Bold-hosted event: The Hunger Games‘ Elizabeth Banks and Haywire co-stars Ewan McGregor and Gina Carano with director Steven Soderbergh.

The action thriller centers around “a black ops super soldier [who] seeks payback after she is betrayed and set up during a mission.”

Haywire, which also stars Channing Tatum, Michael Angarano, and Michael Douglas, hits theaters this Friday (January 20)!

Gwyneth Paltrow wears a bright orange Prada dress at the Contagion photo call on Saturday (September 3) at the Palazzo del Cinema in Venice, Italy.

The 38-year-old actress was joined at the 68th Venice Film Festival event by her co-stars Matt Damon and Laurence Fishburne, as well as director Steven Soderbergh.

Matt recently sat down with Access Hollywood and chatted about teaming up with Gwyn, his co-star in 1999′s The Talented Mr. Ripley.

“More so than anybody I’ve ever worked with, she’s got an ability to turn it on and off. Like she can just be talking about anything and then when they say, ‘Rolling,’ it’s like she snaps, she just locks in, in a way that I don’t understand, ‘cause I can’t do it,” he shared.

“I’ve worked with a lot of great actors and one thing that happens for me is that a great actor is so good that they pull me right in … that’s how I feel when I do a scene with her, I’m instantly brought in because she takes me there,” he added.

Mixed martial artist and American Gladiator Gina Carano and director Steven Soderbergh will team up for, Knockout, a spy thriller which will be the screen debut for Gina.

According to Variety, production on the film will begin in January. Gina plays a girl with a difficult upbringing who then uses her fighting skills for good.

Gina is known to be “the face” for women’s mixed martial arts with her deadly fighting instinct and her drop-dead good looks.
